I think throwing more/bigger baits on the bottom would have been more effective. Like pinning a couple of those minnows on that hook and a light carolina rig. Great content and scenery!

The reason u can't cast far and birds nest is because that's a trolling reel 😢 I wanted that reel too it looks so nice but doing my research it's not made fir casting its made for trolling 😭💔

I picked up one of these for for sturgeon fishing from the bank last year. I was surpised that it gave my abu 6500's a run for their money throwing anything anything over 2oz. I was able to hit about 80yds with and 8'6" xh salmon rod, 50# braid, 4oz bank sinker, and a smelt for bait(3-4oz). Hoping to pair it with at 12' surf rod this year to really launch it out there.

Do you think that the penn squall 20lw will be good for catching sharks, like 5+ foot sharks
