How humble they are and do not have an iota of hatred or hatred or misbehavior and a lot of help there
Gaymer is clotted cream and kahi is like puff pastry dipped in simple sugar syrup. It is best Iraqi breakfast!

I had many Armenian friends growing up in Iraq. When I was 13 I moved to Australia, my first friend here was Armenian too. I was pretty suprised that they had no idea of Armenian Iraqis. I'd love to go back to Iraq it's been 13 years too long.
Thanks you deserve more views 👍 Iraqi people are very hospitable I traveled there in 2013

David, David, David... Damn Bro, what more can a person say. Just like Iran, you showing people a side to these countries no one sees, or no one chooses to show. Thank you. Besides the people being so hospitable, and the food being the actual reason you're there, I would seriously go for the perfumes too. The variety is crazy! Looking forward to the series

David, you always make an effort to connect with the people, no matter where you might be. You learn part of their language and that always takes down barriers between each other. So many kind and good people in this world. Take care and thank you for what you do. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.

Robin thank you so much for saying that. Its people like you who really help make this something special. To be able to connect with people around the world and to learn about so many beautiful places and cultures is a dream come true. I totally agree there is so much goodness and kindness in this world. We are all brothers and sisters on this world! Thank you for the love and sending peace and blessings to you in those beautiful backgrounds of Northeastern Tennessee!
Good morning David. I barely got in on the 'live' chat but I just watched the replay. So, finally, Iraq series is here. Great start. It's so nice to see how these people and the city of Bagdad have survived after all that Iraq has been through: the Iran/Iraq war and Bush's invasion of Iraq and their own internal problems. But I digress. No more politics. They sure love sugar and sweets. A diabetic's no-no. I love the flatbread but without all that sugary syrup. Interesting way they prepare and cook their food but it all look delicious. As for the market, you can find almost everything you need but how do you choose. An abundance of products. And how about those coppersmith artisans making all that copperware, fascinating. So nice seeing Tasos. Just did a 'live' chat with him earlier this morning. He was at the airport in Lisbon waiting to fly to Ghana. He looked well. So, David, you know how anxious I was waiting for this series and you didn't disappoint. So looking forward to the next video. Thank you very much. I hope you are feeling much better now. Take good care of yourself and have a great day. ❤️🙏👼🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦

I was born in Baghdad and lived there until I was almost 7. I remember some of the foods you ate. We would go out to get kahi and geymar on Saturday or Sundays, and it was soooo good. I remember having torshi, also so good. I didn't care for the half and half dates. The unripe portion was bitter to me. Other favorites of mine that maybe you had while you were there, were tashreeb, khoubiz, and dibis. That's so awesome you visited Baghdad. I hope to make a visit back in a few years.

What a shame that the royal family of Iraq is no longer here. I wonder what would have been Iraqi peoples fate? The demise of the monarchy was the start of the dictatorship. Kahi and gaymar is lovely, great stuff.

It's inappropriate to compare a dish from a culture to another one in a different culture unless you are talking to people from your own culture and trying to help them relate. How ridiculous would it sound if you tell an Asian that their noddles are similar to pasta in Europe. Mark Wiens never does that Anyway, love everything else about your vlogs.
