If you girls have another chance to visit Kelapa Gading, go to Sarang Oci. It is a Sulawesi Utara seafood style.....very...very delicious....the taste different Wiro sableng, but has the same level of deliciousness (if it is a word hehehehe)

Hey Susan, agree that this resto serves one of the best seafood in Jakarta. Think you may try the Crab in Padang sauce (Kepiting Saos Padang) the next time you visit there, it's the signature dish of Wiro Sableng 212.

11:03 agreed with her. in Indonesia it's pretty important to give mid- lower class restaurant even street foods a chance because some of them had the best foods you'll ever try

Glad that you visited kelapa gading area!! So many hidden gems there. Most food vloggers only visit the other famous parts of jakarta, but rarely kelapa gading

I live in klp gading. Happy to see finally a youtuber does a culinary trip here. There r many excellent old venues with superb food here. Examples: Shantung Kitchen with excellent pan grilled pork dumplings (Kuo tie). Kweytiaw Akang an excellent Medan style duck egg rice noodle. Of course so many noodle shops. I like Gading Permai selling Makassar style pork noodle. Fortuna, delicious Taiwan style small restaurant. Just so many here.... You'll need few months to explore all.

Wiro sableng has been around since decades. During my senior high school, around 18-20 years ago, I and friends of mine occasionally ate there. They have been already famous since that time. But it was not as fancy as today with the air conds etc. But they grow bigger im sure

@@gypsyinsneakers U welcome... but if saus padang too hot for you.. for seafood someday you can have saus tiram (oyster sauce & black pepper) in your order.. such as cumi saus tiram, udang saus tiram etc... ow, you forgot about kepiting (crab)... kepiting saus tiram is insane too 👍🏻😁

For me, Wiro Sableng is the best seafood restaurant in Jakarta. I love ikan kuwe bakar, kerang bambu (bamboo clams), and smoked king crabs.

This seafood restaurant is near where i live. I watched your video the day you uploaded it. And yesterday i went to Bias, the restaurant you recommended to visit in Seminyak Bali. And yes, BIAS has gorgeous interior, foods and drinks.

Kelafa gading It's great that it was busy. Before the pandemic, this place used to be very crowded. The building is like being in Europe but living in Asian Indonesian soil

Unexpected about udang saus padang make me laugh soo hard.. hahahahaaha you love it but the spicy you cant handle it.. thats make me love you susan.. you give us the best reaction dan pure.. happy holidays to you..

@@gypsyinsneakers if you guys in Jakarta, again try Makassar Food such as Sop Kondro (big Ribs) & ikan Bulan and Es Pisang hIjau at Karebosi resto and Maranu Resto at Jalan Kelapa Gading Boelevard. Don't miss it... You may get different style of Indonesian food taste. This food originally came from south Sulawesi. Happy Hunting Gorgeous

Susan,you must go to Yogjakarta too, there are many good and interesting tourist attractions, there are also special foods, namely Gudeg Jogja and Bakpia. Not far from jogja, only about a 1 hour trip there is a city called Klaten, there are lots of tours with mountain springs, you can come to Umbul (like a swimming pool with fresh and natural mountain water sources) named like Umbul Ponggok, Umbul Manten, and many others. In fact, Klaten is a little smaller than Yogyakarta, but the culinary in Klaten is also very good. If you have a lot of time, don't forget to come to these 2 cities, you will definitely be happy. Keep spirit and keep healthy Susan :)

Yes Suzan, many variety food & dish in Kelapa Gading. Seafood Resto Wiro Sableng, Conro and Coto Karebosi, Manado dish Bumbu Den, Palembang dish at Resto Sarisanjaya, etc. So many delicious food.

I live in Kelapa Gading for almost 36 years and only tried that once. Try Wiro Sableng Garden, not too far from there. The place are more modern and clean.

If you love nasi goreng, you can try to Rumah Makan Irtim at Muara Karang, North Jakarta from 5pm to 11pm.. their Nasi goreng Merah, putih, and Jakarta are good.. and dont forget to order ayam goreng tanpa tulang mentega (chicken butter without bone).. the price is not expensive too and the portion is sooooo big…

Woww you need tp order fried green shell as well.. that's their masterpiece.. really delicious..

Later, you can visit Sumatra island. Such as west Sumatra, Riau province, north Sumatra. There are some Dutch building since Colonial era.

for Udang Saus Padang, actually you can request the level of spicy : less spicy, mild or even more spicy. It works for all seafood restaurant

just to let you know, near that place, wiro sableng has another outlet which is newer, fancier, and bigger. maybe you'd like to visit there for more comfy place.

The concept of Indonesian dishes is all the intents spices in all of the dishes supposed to be eaten with rice. the The soft & neutral flavor of the rice. will tone down the flavor & make it balance .

Please also stop at Senen, Jakarta Pusat. Hunting for Kapau rice on the edge of Jalan Kramat Raya, a typical Minangkabau snack center. Here lined with rice kapau sellers with delicious side dishes. Tambusu curry. Don't miss Lemang Ketan.

There are 2 wiro sableng 212 restaurant.. The one you came to is the old place. The newer and better place located just accross the road after the u turn bridge, named wiro sableng 212 garden. Bigger place and more comfy.. Yes.. best seafood, legend in kelapa gading. Started from just a seafood tent and look how famous they are now

Please Find "Bandar Djakarta" this is highly recommend restaurant, choose their branch at Alam Sutra

You should go to BANDAR DJAKARTA. location at Ancol. Fancy place. With beach view. And nice nice food

Try all of you stop by in Surabaya, namely on Jl. Kedungdoro or at Jl Karang Menjangan, jl. Dharmawangsa, jl. Darmahusada and many other places at Surabaya. Surely you can find delicious seafood tastes there.

You also may try Sop Konro Karebosi there in Kelapa Gading area, their Ribs are top notch. If you have peanut allergy try their Sop Konro but if you dont, try their Sop Konro Bakar

Please stop at Jl Agus Salim (formerly called Jl Sabang), Jakarta Pusat, starting in the afternoon a lot of selling food/drinks there. Cheap, delicious, lively. My favorite: "Pak Fat" chicken feet.

If you at kelapa gading you can find sop konro karebosi is the best konro at Jakarta.. the place at boulevard street kelapa gading.

Hi susanne, you should try Makassar dish in kelapa gading, name is Sop Konro Karebosi, its made from beef meat. Like a beef stew and beef bbq rib with makassar style
