Sate Maranggi at Purwakarta is different style than in Cipanas.. Both are delicious depends on your taste. But the location that you visited in Puncak is not the original location which is in Cipanas... 😀

Depends bro, at purwakarta if you eat at hj yeti, it's more expensive, 5k each, so for 10 it's gonna be 50k, i recommend sate maranggi pareang

Love that spot.... Fyi the places that you visited its very populair as a local Indonesian... Specially on weekend . People coming at the weekend usually from Jakarta just have some refreshment /healing after of his crazy job.. Come with family spent 1-2 night and back to Jakarta / the reguler job. Many spot that its worth to see in puncak ..the country side or rent some Villas enjoy the vibe of puncak adventure explore more deeper..tea plantation hot spring the road the air the view the food the local ... Perfect spot event just for refreshment of the stressful. Good adventure ...

If you want to go to Puncak/Bogor/Bandung, would be great if consider the perfect time, because of heavy traffic jams on weekends or holidays. Bogor and Bandung have many various great and tasty foods actually, and it depends on the right place to buy it, because of different taste at different stores, like Asinan Bogor, Laksa, Batagor, etc. Btw, that sate was burned/over grilled. Enjoy your trips and have great days

oncom is fermented soy waste after they made tofu, that is sambal oncom (oncom cooked with chili). oncom is pretty healthy though, lot of fiber, calcium and protein.....the unusual smell in oncom came from fermentation tempeh using whole soybean, oncom using soybean waste

the best sate maranggi is not there but at the sari asih 1 restaurant, you have to go further towards cianjur.

The most delicious Maranggi satay and many visitors are in the Purwakarta area.West Java every day is always crowded

the original and pioneer of roti unyil was Venus Roti unyil at Jalan suryakencana open on 90ish and they open new branch at jalan pajajaran also, taste the best other brand is just copycat. I know this because its from my hometown. the varieties and the taste at the original roti unyil definetely will blown your mind .

Miss Susan... I m a big fan of urs n I haven't miss even a single vlog of urs .... Y don't u make a plan to visit North East part of India where it has 8 states. Very much needed a vlogger like u to explore our states, specially for a state called Arunachal Pradesh.

Oncom is made out of fermented soy beans. And it's just a thing in Indonesia to eat meat cooked well done, especially in traditional local cuisine. Thus the tough n dry texture. If they cook it just right, it wouldn't be so bad but some dry beef satay is kinda expected 😅

What distinguishes Sate Maranggi from other satays is the process of soaking the meat in the marinade, before it is made into satay and cooked. Because of this seasoning process, Sate Maranggi is served without any accompanying sauce. The marinade itself is made from a mixture of sweet soy sauce and several types of spices, such as ginger, coriander, galangal, turmeric, with a little vinegar to give it a slightly sour taste, you can use rice vinegar (vinegar made from palm sugar), or other types of vinegar. It is OK
