It is verry dangerous to make jokes about halal an haram food. There is a hadith about it is forbidden if you lie even if it is a joke.

Please, avoid eating sausages and paperonis in Turkey, even if they say it's halal, don't believe. If they don't show halal certificate, don't eat. I know, you would say it's Turkey, but lot's of manufacturers don't care about halal, they don't even put word "Halal" on their products, so please be aware of that.
