For people with shorter, sparse lashes, after the clear mascara dries, you can layer on black mascara next. Your lashes can look neater and well-kept thanks to the clear mascara's work but with added length and/or volume thanks to the black mascara. I did this trick sometimes when I had the extra time and it always looks pretty.

That’s what I do I usually put clear then I curl my lashes wait for it to dry and put black on top and I never have clumps

I use one from Nyx if I'm not mistaken. It was better for me than the usual black ones because I usually rub my eyes due to itch (ESPECIALLY when I have makeup on) and I tear up when I'm sleepy or any reason really, so I always end up looking like Swiper. Atleast with the clear one, I can rub and reapply all day long and it would still look natural, all while keeping my lashes in place.

@@diannematos6102 I haven't experienced that so far. Also, erratum for me: I think it was from Nichido, not Nyx. It's originally supposed to be an eyebrow gel but I use it as mascara because I was just after an unpigmented 'gel' that I can use to keep my lashes in place while also not giving me racoon eyes. 🤠

Clear mascara was one of the forst things my mom let me use. Its good if you cant wear black or brown but sometimes it flakes. Its also really good for a clean girl makeup look.

I stopped using mascara years ago...but I do remember the clear version and my favorite was colored mascara lol!

Clear mascara is perfect when if going to swim at the beach or pool. Cuz normal mascara would snudge. Ik that theres waterproof mascaras but theyre not good for if lashes tho. But also, curling ur lashes is also good cuz it lasts long.
