I'm from Chicago but live in Atlanta now I used to go to the Portillos in Bolingbrook!!! I lived there too!!! Truly miss the Italian Beef dipped with peppers amd the Chicago hot dog and the onion rings, Fiiieee!!!❤❤❤❤

Went to graduate school in Chicago and also lived there for approx. 15 years. Didn’t really eat many Italian beef sandwiches when I was there. But the other day I saw that there was a Portillo’s that opened up in my new city (Denton, TX) and decided to go. I got one of those beefs with the sausage. It was delicious. Now I regret not having more of these when I lived in Chicago.

After almost sixteen years of being away from my home city of Chicago, I imagine that the smell of Italian beef would probably make me cry for real!

I visited Portillo's in Scottsdale, AZ. Had to laugh as half the cars in the parking lot had IL license plates on them! I love Portillo's, and Al's Beef and Buona... Great stuff!!!

Beef Sandwich dipped with peppers, jumbo chicago dog & cake shake is my go to order

The Portillos is not technically in LA but in OC (Orange County) i wish we had a portillos in LA but portillos is worth a drive and also right across the street from Knott’s Berry Farm so you can ride some rollercoasters and hit up portillos after for a complete day in case you don’t want to drive in 1 hr traffic just to to eat 😂

You needed a piece of cake and milk shake. When I go to Chicago, this is always the 1st and last stop to eat. So happy there's one in California. Thank you.

I love Portillos!! We found some in Florida when we visited and had to stop!

They recently opened a Portillo's by my house. Order delivery from them all the time. Place is always busy, they have to use employees in the drive through to call in orders to the kitchen way in advance just to keep up with the take out window

Hello Lamar. I'm also from Chicago and you should try their Char-Boiled Burgers. Trust me it so Worth it. Idk if you already had it but it my 2nd best burger in my life. 1st place is Five Guys ❤

I've been to Chicago twice and I've eaten at Portillo's on both trips! Good stuff.

I've had Portillos in California Arizona Indiana Wisconsin and they all taste the same . That's what makes it a great restaurant. The hotdogs are great the Maxwell street polish is pretty good nothing like a original one from JT/Jim's JT is a Chicago thang ! The burgers are char broiled and good honestly don't sleep on da ribs either . Best deserts are all of them imo and gotta get a chocolate cake shake . Oh and get a combo too ! Italian beef and Italian sausage omg extra dipped sweet and hot with a splash of marinara

Not all Portillos have it but their meatball sandwich is super underrated. I order it with giardanera and mozzarella.

He says Portillo wrong, it sounds poor-te-low- Portillo. Never is an s in Italian, which comes from Latin or Latino.

The Maxwell Street Polish is fantastic along with that decadent chocolate cake, yummy!!

Portillos does not make the best Italian beef or Chicago hot dogs in Chicago, but they are reliably good, which is why they are everywhere. It's a chain and those restaurants are seemingly on every street corner. Every Portillos has a huge line at the drive through that moves incredibly fast.

The beef is alright. The chocolate cake shake is where it’s at!!!!

Portillos there is amazing

I live about twenty minutes from that location and I drive forty minutes plus the time to get my order for the Italian beef. With mozzarella dipped with extra hot peppers and three sides of gravy is my order.

One of my favorite places to go in Chicago! ☺️

FYI. It is actually in Orange County in the city of BUENA Park. And the food is great and reasonably priced.

The food will always be better anywhere near the great lakes because water is used to cook all food directly or indirectly. Eat an egg from a chicken raised on sulfur water in Florida and youll know what i mean.

You should try the Char-broiled burgers they're really good🧡

I'm originally from Chicago as well I now live in Texas and I MISS MY ITALIAN BEEF 😢!! they don't even know what that is down here OMG!! All they know is that damn brisket which is good but there is nothing better than a Italian beef sandwich from Chicago. I WANT TO GO HOME just to get that doggone sandwich!!! I have bought the meat and had the butcher slice the meat for me and made my own it was very delicious I must say but it's nothing like the real thing. Somebody please send me one!!😂

Italian beefs are ny favorite. Im from Atlanta andnnever had one until i kived in South Florida. There were a few places that had them but one stood out above the rest Tony's in Venice Florida is the shiznit. I started getting fat eating those damn thing lol.

i’m so sorry you had to eat Portillo‘s🫣😵 I live in Chicago and one just popped up in my neighborhood and Logan Square. But you have to think there’s so many traditional Chicago bodega places to get Italian beef that are packed with beef and flavor..$9 with fires and a pop👌🏽 always hit up the hole in the walls if you’re trying to get an Italian beef and Chicago

I live in Chicago right now and my girlfriend lives in North Carolina! But she did tell me that she’s gonna be moving to Chicago to see me and I’m actually nervous because I finally get to see her beautiful, cute and pretty face in person and she gets to see my handsome face in person! She told she’ll be moving to Chicago to be with me in a week. I’m so nervous I don’t know what to say when we finally meet! Although she sent me a video saying “can we hug like this when we meet?” And I said “of course babe! I can’t wait to see you next week!” And she said “me too because I felt so lonely and alone but next week I’m gonna move to Chicago to be with you so when it’s time for us to sleep, we can cuddle.
