Kendra your hair looks AMAZING 🥰

Apply a leave-in conditioner and gently comb through with a wide-toothed comb, starting from the tips and working your way up. Divide your hair into sections and use a detangling brush, starting from the ends and working upward to minimize breakage. Finger-detangle by applying a lightweight oil or conditioner and carefully working through knots with your fingers, smoothing out tangles from the bottom to the roots.

I only brush style my hair with the Felicia Leatherwood brush. If I don’t brush style, my curls aren’t bouncy and I’ll have less definition. It lasts 8 days even though I wash my every 8 days. The rule of thumb, is to pick a day of the week and never skip wash days!

I just want to say that Kelsey and Kendra your guys videos are so much fun to watch. What I really enjoy about them is the fact that you two do not shy away from using other brands on your hair. It has inspired me to also check out others brands. I finally discovered that my hair actually does have a curl pattern but I was using products that were too heavy or too moisturizing on my hair. I still have problems with (frizz?) I don't think it's even frizz just hairs that don't want to take a definite form. Honestly, I'm glad that you two don't base your hair care products on your hair pattern but actually just want to see if it works right. Like you two are the only ones I will take hair care advice from. I stopped trying to correlate my hair to my pattern and instead now I just want to learn whats best for it. I think natural hair care isn't difficult but I think so many people are putting restrictions on their hair care and its not giving the best results. Thank you so much! I've been watching you two for probably about 10 years now!

I've used these products in the past and always gotten great results. I'm going to have to go back to them. And their really affordable too. The shampoo and conditioner from this line is great as well.

I’m in love with both these products!!! You nailed it! The problem is the 5 level gel hold is always sold out!!!! The pattern brush - I tend to use it to help me shingle quicker - it smooths and works I also keep the hard hold longer - scrunch without oil for a little bit - so my hair can last 5 days

I like the gel because it is definitely a hard hold gel but it always flakes. It goes on well but after it dries you get flakes

Not Your Mother's is my staple brand. I flex between the conditioners, but use the curl talk shampoo as my moisturizing shampoo. The defining creme leaves my hair dry, but I ❤ the foam🎉

Guys y'all fingers are nothing more then longer pins on a brush only difference is that you all use brushes with to many teeth for your hair hence it coming out the curls. So if it puffs your hair up try a brush with wider bristles and more space I between the teeth.

I’ve tried brush styling once but I think I need a better technique because it doesn’t look as good as it could your curls look so beautiful 💕💕

I brush style with this pattern beauty brush and after drying I have to separate my curls because of so much definition!!

Those products look like they’d be hood for slicking down and molding the hair, so I’m going to buy them.

I absolutely love the hard hold curl talk gel… but it’s so hard to find ????? Ulta sold out!
