The way Mia went about her realization for being a bigger size sets SUCH a good example for people. Instead of showing or getting upset, it was very plain and factual. I hope lots of people will pick up on that and feel better knowing that a bigger size isn’t a bad thing ❤️

Also, women's sizing especially is so ridiculous. I wear a different size in practically every brand and sometimes even the same brand but a different style. Why worry about size when going to a different store can change it completely anyway?

I also feel like it’s a huge example of how stupid women’s sizing is! We know Mia has been a small or extra small in almost everything, so if she’s a medium in those swim bottoms, that means someone who would normally be a medium might be an extra large! Which is crazy! So then someone like me who is typically an extra large? Oof, it probably doesn’t carry “my size.”

Yeah! I am *very* short (only 4'10'') so I am a weird/unusual size so sizing is very difficult for me. In some sections or brands I have to go up to a medium, but in many adult women's brands, even the XS is still sometimes too big for me because of my small stature and I have to look if they have a petite section

I love that you included Superstore! They are so underrated. They've really stepped up the last few years becoming more stylish and being more size inclusive. I hope you do another Superstore clothing video with everyday outfits. (Fall season is usually my favorite!) I liked the Superstore bathing suits best in this video but you looked good in all of them. The Walmart/Target ones just didn't seem to have enough color.

The Superstore leafy patterned one looks really good on you! It is a great color combo and the style + color combo creates the illusion of curves that the others don’t.

Swimsuits are one of the first things I think of when I hear the word Target 😂 I have been buying their swimsuits my entire life!

I find bathing suits especially run small! I almost always have to size up in bathing suits. Sizing is wack though as it is. I’m like 25 lbs underweight (medical issue) and wear a 4 in most pants. Like who wears a 0 if me at a pretty low weight can’t even wear smaller than a 4? It depends on the store but it’s so obvious why so many have self esteem issues!!!!

My mum got sick and lost a ton of weight and was skin and bones and was still a size 4/6 in most brands.... its so disheartening. Its such unrealistic expectations. Id have thought mia was an XS, maybe a S in some brands. :( Ps, good luck with your health, i hope it improves soon!

@@shey8984 while I agree completely some people can weigh the same and be in different sizes I have wider hips then a friend of mine and enough though I weigh less I have to size up just becuase I'm wider🤷‍♀️ I was and still am struggling with anorexia so I still have a tough time buying clothes that show a lot and it was tough to realize I was a different size but I figured it out. Sorry for rambling

I think you might be forgetting that people have different bone structures and some people are a good weight but more wide and tall so they need to wear larger clothing anyways. Also there’s not standardized sizing in all countries

I think it's mostly because she has pretty wide hips. (This is coming from someone who has a pretty similar build to her so I get the struggle COMPLETELY) But I also have to buy a small top and medium bottoms as well 🤷🏼‍♀️

We need superstore part two. And those longer tops are always so flattering!

In this pandemic we have no where to go but here I am thinking about vacation on beaches. Ironic isn't it??😂

I think you should do an expensive or cheap swim suit edition where someone buys the suits from a few websites for you (mama Mia?) and slips in a few super cheap suits of decent quality(maybe from shein and wish) and you have to guess which suits are cheap and which are expensive - anyone else think this would be a super fun video for the summer? Heck, mix it up and have mama Mia buy some for you and you buy some for her and make it a competition on who can guess the most correctly 😜👙🙌🏻

Sorry this is irrelevant but I love how mia stays her natural self. I have lips just like her and whenever I see other young youtubers get popular, who also have lips like us, get famous and start getting filler it makes me feel like I need filler too.
