Agreed, even if you mum or whoever could use it, it's not necessarily something they'd choose themselves and therefore get much use out of, so it's a waste of money to not send it back! Besides, it's the principle of the matter, they screw up that bad, they don't deserve her money.

RE: "I really don't wanna talk bad about a brand because of a shipping issue." But Mia! shipping and handling accurately is also part of the responsibility of a company! It would be different if the issue was just purely shipping where the shipping company has lost/damaged your package (and most brands take accountability for even those issues) but the brand itself got your order so terribly wrong :( I think that would be reason enough for many consumers to be turned away from the brand; ESPECIALLY because they're supposed to be a higher end brand. People expect a pleasant shopping experience when they spend more money! TLDR; it is a completely valid reason to call a brand out on shipping/handling issues as big as this one.

They probably would have had she immediately contacted them when the order arrived and it was so messed up. They refunded her initially for the pieces they didn't have and so she went back on and ordered some others, then her order arrived and it was all wrong, she should have contacted them immediately and left this video for another time when she finally got everything she actually ordered.

She received an order and she opens stuff while shooting for video so I think it wasn't majorly her fault not to check it when they arrived they are big ass brand and messed up twice already and then that too sent wrong sizes u expect a brand like that to not make such mistakes...even if mia would habe seen on time and replaced it doesn't make them any less wrong for messing it up that bad

As someone who has worked in a warehouse shipping online retail orders, there is absolutely no excuse for messing up your order so spectacularly. You should turn people away from a brand that doesnt even have a proper inventory control system in place. I can count on ONE HAND how many times we refunded based on inventory errors in the four years I worked there. We shipped shoes, not bathing suits, but I cant imagine that the process is terribly different. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, it's very disappointing.

It's a dream of mine to start up a business, clothing looks really enticing given the lack of pockets in women's clothing and untapped market, but before even designing you need a way to manage inventory. You can't sell products you don't have, and you can't replace that product with a different one

Frankly it seems like a dishonest company to me. Hard to mess up that badly on accident and even if they switched two orders it seems like quite a long shot that whoever got her order didn't object to getting the wrong things in too small a size. The company has to be aware that they messed up.

Sent wrong sizes, things you didn’t order, never got a one piece, didn’t get ANYTHING you ordered because it was all wrong sizes anyway.. $60 for a couple triangles I would expect more than that from the company. You better be getting some free stuff soon girl

No wonder Dipping Daisies didn’t realize those pieces were sold out until after your order went through. They’re sending our random pieces to people who didn’t even order them…they can’t keep track of what’s in stock.

Dippin daisys doesn’t have a shipping issue....it has a “getting what your ordered” issue.

Problably they don't have a good system for controlling their stock, most likely they filed things wrong, when you buy something the product has a code that is sent to be separate, they must be storing things with the wrong codes so they may think they have a piece but once they go get it is actually another different piece with the code of the one you bought, the same for the pieces they send you, the person that got didn't look before sending, just trusted the code. Probably they still have stock of pieces that appear to be sold out somewhere else too.

Every online business should know to throttle their stock to avoid exactly these issues. I've never heard of them and is never but from them. If you're looking for a nice swimsuit, I'd recommend Indigo Swimwear or Kore. They both make beautiful pieces!

I love how kind she is to not get mad over "a shipping issue" when she spent $200+ on their website only to not receive a single item she ordered. Even the types of items she ordered and received were the wrong size. I would definitely not order from them. If they had a storefront, maybe. But it's pretty clear that ordering online would be a waste of time and money.

I know me too. I can be pretty stingy for myself sometimes nglXD. But over 100$ for a swimsuit like that hurt me cause who would wanna spend that much for a swimsuit?!? Obviously there's people who do pay that price but I honestly wouldn't,I mean I get sandals from the dollar sometimes & clothes from clearance. Like I decided to splurge on a Betsy Johnson purse that cost 20$ from a discount store & I rarely do that.

I work for a store that whole sales with dippin daisys and they get our orders wrong all the time and send damaged pieces! And its always a mission to get these issues resolved.

Dippin' Daisy's really messed up clearly they have no organization when it comes to their inventory and shipment. Thank you for these videos as someone who is in the process of opening my own online store it helps knowing the mistakes I need to avoid that other brands are making 🙏

The fact that dippin daisys messed up both orders just tells me they mess up orders constantly. What are the chances of one order messing up and then a week later a different order messing up. i mean, they've never messed mine up and I've placed maybe 5 orders in the past year when i was bored in quarantine (and ofc now i have no money) so idk. I've found that i love their bikinis and they fit well and haven't had any issues w returns or refunds. i had some trouble w things going out of stock and some stuff not fitting, but they've been great about returns and I've been able to return orders 3 months out and stuff, so i actually like them! it's super weird that that happened to her, though

Also, sometimes companies realize that people are influencers and decide to give really good orders and make sure everything goes well with them versus if they’re a normal person and they don’t care about the packaging, the product, etc. I like it when influencers put in a fake name or different email when they place the orders

Maybe the company thought they had stock of those items left but didn't because they kept sending wrong items out like maybe based off the numbers of those items bought they were meant to still have stock, but it turned out they kept sending the wrong items to people so they used up all their stock. Not an excuse for the company tho, cause either way they've stuffed something up and Mia defiantly should get her money back cause it's ridiculous, like stuffing up 2 separate orders isn't okay.

I work for a boutique that sells dippin daisy’s and even our bulk orders every time they get something wrong

I'm a swim teacher and here in Oz at the end of every summer all the swim suit stores send their left overs to thrift stores which is when I buy my new suits for the following year (usually 3 or 4) for usually around $5 per suit. I'd go broke buying off the rack for work!

On insta if you go to their page they are super fake. A few people have commented about Mia and they just copy and paste the same reply and they even admitted to deleting comments people were posting about mia’s order

I ordered masks from them and the shipping info never became available. Then when I emailed them (thats the only way to get ahold of them) I was ghosted until I had already placed another order because I thought I wasnt going to get the masks. They finally issued a refund for the ones I ordered initially. They came in the mail a few days later lol I kept my money. I was emailing back and forth with a different person every time trying to get my refund, I deserved it lol

Mia’s been telling us she’s flat as a board this whole time and then BAM! She hits us with the CAKE! I was not expecting that! Get it queen!! 💁🏻‍♀️

They should have refunded everything on the order that they refunded the top on one and the bottoms on the others. Kind if stupid. Why would you only want the bottoms for one and the top for another set.

It’s a selling strategy. Pretty little thing does that too. Not many people would buy a swimsuit top for example if the matching bottoms were sold out

I bought a swimsuit at like... 120$ a long long time ago... still have it. Still good. Still fits because of the way it is done. The color is not washed out from the salt or chlorine. I think you pay for the fact you never really have to buy one ever again :D And it is double fabric.

The second way you wore the top of the towel top was so friggin cute on you!!
