I am going through varucca treatment via a podiatrist after years of pain jumping is something I feel I will never be able to do.thankyou for the free lessons.i am determined one day in my life to be able to jump.i will be 63 in July.came to these vids via watching Lauren.im fascinated and intrigued by all this.good to see the young up to good and not no good. I hope this sport becomes more acknowledged.
RA style all day 💯!! Don’t get me wrong I like watching Lauren jumps and others but I feel like the RA way looks and feels better to me

His style is the closet to the way Mayweather holds his arms.
I had been doing skipping from many years, but never knew correct form for doing tricks, recently I have found interest in doing them, and also learnt criss cross and side swipes, but always tripped or can't mix with regular bounce due to endurance issue (due to wrong posture). Today after seeing this video, I went on beast mode mixing and matching the rhythm with regular bounce and even hit my daily limit with these tricks! It was a wonderful session today! I feel more excited to learn new tricks now! 🔥🔥 Keep creating these type of contents! 💪🏻😤🔥 Love from India!🫶

I'm one of the "elbows in, wrists out" guys and of course I struggle with some tricks. Hopefully after this (as usual) so exhaustive video I'm willing to work hard to correct posture, elbows and wrists position. Thank you Rushie!! 🥰

I've watched a couple of your videos on hand/elbow positioning and motion and I'll definitely make some adjustments in tomorrow's workout. Have started skipping again a few days ago after a few years of not skipping and the tripping over the rope is driving me crazy 😁 Not that I was good before, but I could jump non-stop for at least 1-2 minutes and now I trip every 30-50 jumps.
Thank you RA for this tuitorial
Thank you for tutorial! Great content!
Very underrated jump rope guide, since im trying to do a few tricks like criss cross i keep failing because my arc is too wide and my wrists too far away, now im trying to focus on correcting my posture and do it more like you. Thank you for your very informative video man, keep it up!

Aside from the obvious badassery in your jumping, I've watched enough of your videos to say that you are a teacher of the highest order. Your way of introducing and contextualizing, as well as providing detailed examples, is amazing! Thank you for the amazing content!

Yo, you should make a video of you trying famous jump rope tricks. Would love to watch a video like that (I'm not sure if you already made a video about that because I'm new to the channel).
I got a money rope shipped to me in Australia this week bro. Very happy with it thank you. Much prefer to the speed rope I had. I still suck. Shins hurting a bit but trying my best!

I've been too accustomed to the regular skipping stance(for past 2yrs), but im gonna try my best to convert to the more efficient RA method.👍

Great explanation. Would the RA technique work for someone with wide shoulders and big lats?
@RushAthleticsTV

For sure I’ve seen lots of wider ppl get used to this technique. May feel uncomfy at the beginning but im sure if you stick to it you’ll find somewhere in the middle that’ll work well🙌🏽
Do you have a guide for this style No matter how back i have my elbows i cant jump rope woth wrists almost directly beneath my shoulders likw you do cause the rope keeps hittting my shoulder frame
I'll be taking these tips to the gym later!! Cheers Rushi, The Man the myth the legend!!!

Hello, I have had problems jumping rope, I have put my arms a little far away and that makes me tripping on the rope, I can not do the simple tricks easily. So now I will keep my elbows back. I really like when you pass the rope to the sides, jump and do crisscross, it seems that you do it with confidence and comfort, when I jump the rope it seems that at any moment I'm going to mess up

Man, I had to look over this twice because I have been doing the other method and never once really thought I was in that style, same as other's been struggling with some tricks so I will keep practicing over all again for the Elephant (just kidding) Elbow back style, lol.

😢😢I can’t get the arms at all, I can get the running skip, hop skip. I tried this drill but it’s not doing anything for me because I’m struggling getting the arms coordinated on the cross. Rushie do you have another video I should be looking at. Am a beginner 💕
😮
Your style is cool cause it looks more effortless, it almost gives a nonchalant look

Hey bro, trust I’ll bring bringing more Nova rope to the channel but just been using the money rope for this type of video as most ppl getting into skipping will likely use a speed rope and not a weighted-speed rope (if that makes sense) 🙌🏽 respect for supporting 💛
