TRY THIS...Feel How Your Eyes Connect to the Neck! (Neck Pain, Headaches, Dizziness) - Dr Mandell

Here's an amazing breakthrough in medical science showing the connection of the suboccipital muscles and our eyes. Forward head posture has been linked to many health conditions (neck pain, headaches, dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, visual problems, etc.) from these contracted suboccipital muscles affecting the neurological system. These muscles do have a connection to the dura mater, the outside covering of the spinal cord and brain. I will review a great technique to counteract many of the conditions using our eyes and suboccipital muscles.

After 1 trip to urgent care , 2 trips to the ER, a CT scan that came back normal, blood / urine test that were normal, X-rays of my organs that came back normal and a 3 day stay in the hospital from experiencing lightheaded ness, dizziness, head pressure, eye pressure, brain fog / static and researching my symptoms that kept coming back I stumbled across this video. THANK YOU!!!! After doing these stretches for about 3 days, a set in the morning and a set before bed all of my symptoms vanished. More people should know about this.

Holy crap Doc, I know even before I type this that a lot of people are going to think I’m exaggerating but rest assured I AM NOT! I suffer from chronic headaches, I have since I was a very young man. Currently I have a headache that has lasted for about two months. I just watched your video, great info by the way, I did the stretches just like you said and I feel absolutely amazing. My headache is gone almost completely. My vision is better and I feel great. I wasnt asleep because of the pain and it’s 5:20 am. Now I don’t want to sleep because I feel so good. Thank you Doc you are an amazing doctor and an even better person. I’m typing through my tears so forgive me for any typos. Thanks a million and you have a subscriber for life. I can’t wait to spread this news. God bless you Sir!!!!

Thank you so, so much! For nearly 20 years I've been trying to get doctors to LISTEN to me about my partner's imbalance being connected somehow to his eyes. I'm not a doctor, but I live with this man, and I am a witness to when these episodes of imbalance hit him the hardest. I'm shown every single day that there is somehow an eye, spine, muscle, nerve connection. There are practitioners, and there are healers. I believe that you, sir, fall in the healer category. Again, thank you. May the One Source bless you and keep you, Dr. M.

I have ringing in my ears, pain wrapping around from my neck to my head, jaw pain, vertigo, even nausea when the pain gets to intense. Closing/ resting the eyes helps . Have several DDD, bulging herniated disc 3 in the cervical area that I know of. Docs wanting to cut in me but everyone ive ever spoken to says it helps some but not enough or makes things worse. I di pretty good with pain meds, keeping the muscles relaxed arms use ice , heat & massage. Along with being careful not to reinjure. Horrible life but alive. I can't express how thankful I am for docs like this. You guys make a difference.

I suffer from chronic eye strain and tightness, gamed my entire life since I was 2 1/2, always on my phone, always on the PC for work. I am the definition of this issue. 2 minutes worth of stretching and my eye strain is gone, my neck feels flexible like rubber right where these nerves are, and I honestly feel like a lot of anxiety has eased. I think we all carry anxiety right in these muscles, especially when in an intense gaming moment, or worse, when professionally gaming and those moments can last for HOURS. I've seen ENTs, Internists and chiropractors and no one helped. The only thing that seemed to help was laying with a heating pad on the back of my neck and base of my head. And even then, it would take a daily regime of that. I always felt like it somehow involved my eyes, ears and base of my head at the same time. It has caused a great deal of anxiety, depression and aggravation. When you have something thats tough to explain and no doctor can help you feel like you're losing your mind. I JUST WANT TO GIVE HIM A HUG. DOCTOR EVERY SINGLE MONTH AND A SIMPLE STRETCH HAS OPENED UP MY RANGE OF MOTION... MY MIND IS JUST BLOWN... THANK YOU DOCTOR. I PRAY YOU SEE THIS. ALSO, GOD BLESS YOU, SIR. YOU ARE TRULY DOING THE LORD'S WORK. The Gospel: God made you, part of Him came to earth in the form of His only begotten son, Jesus the prophesied Jewish Messiah, to fulfill the law and save you from the affects of original sin (courtesy of Adam&Eve). He lived a sinless, blameless life (a lamb of God) & the authorities of His own land crucified Him, His body died, He was buried & ROSE AGAIN ON THE 3RD DAY just like the prophesies say (is is written); His sinless blood spilt directly where also prophesied, on the western side of the mercy seat located on top of the ark of the covenant fulfilling (putting an end to by completing it's ultimate atonement) the law HE gave to Moses on the mountain! Jesus came preaching the 1,000 year kingdom reign and had they NOT crucified Him, that would have happened back then BUT when they did, it threw the world into a 2,000 year age of grace time period (between the cross and the 7 year tribulation age) where everyone living now can gain salvation by "FAITH ALONE, LEST NO MAN SHOULD BOAST." Faith in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ is what salvation looks like in this dispensation! The age of tribulation, salvation will look slightly different: faith AND a work (not taking the mark), the people that come to Christ AFTER the rapture are known as "tribulation saints," those of us who have faith in the saving blood of Jesus right now will be saved by the rapture! Robert Breaker has a great channel going into depth about all the questions you can think of using the scriptures as source for answers! Rapture is coming soon, find your faith! ❤️✝️❤️🙏❤️🥰❤️

They looked at me like I was crazy whenever I told them my eye gets droopy whenever my neck gets stiff and painful. I even noticed my eye would feel better after massages. This exercise has made my eyes feel better in one session. It’s still droopy but it feels like the pressure is gone. I believe this will help my droopy eye. Thank you and God Bless you.

Nerve jolting shocks, fire burning nerves headaches, electric shocks waking me up all night nightmarish torture, suffering. After 6 yrs now, its PTSD, scared of pillows, night, bedroom.. Incan go on and on.. Simplest task, tinny task is impossible job, very taxing, too much effort, no focuse or steadiness, wrestles head and mind, brain mind head breaking full, overflowing feeling, anxiety, panicking.. FEAR STRIKES as soon as I have to be patient, like in traffic, stick somewhere, any task, responsibility strikes FEAR TO PANICK, like when will it end, CLOSTORFOBIA sets in with any task orvrestriction of my time, place... But Finally these Physical Therapy Exercises are freeing me, MAGICAL RESULTS, where all else failed, the Doctors, Neurologists, Hospital Emergency visits, MRI, CT-SCANS, XRAYS, Chiropractors, Accupuncturist, Massages, Gym, Swimming, everything failed except 1 or days temp relief sometimes.. It got so bad, vision is effected now, getting blurry. Worse part is nightmarish fear to face the bedtime, no matter the pillow. No matter sitting, standing, leaning anyway, car seat any way, the head is a burden nucomfortable the entire time, its taxing on the brain, mind to carry the head. Anxiety, panic sets in, fear of trapped in this stuck situation, head neck, mind, head, overflowing feeling, inflammation swelling head brain, irritated nerves feeling. In heater, sona, hot shower, the eyes, nerves, headaches, head feels worse, feeling of inflammation all around clogging my eyes, head brains mind, eyesights.. I feel as though I'm reading about myself and my symptoms and what I'm going through several times a week. Add migraines in the mix. I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia, neck arthritis, tinnitus and temporomandibular joint disorder years ago. Dizziness starts from the moment I wake up from bed. Brushing my teeth, making breakfast, washing dishes and cooking makes it worse. I'm constantly on meclizine. Frequent vertigo, electric shocks and jolts in my head. When I turn my eyes side to side I get three quick electric shocks that go whoosh whoosh whoosh. Neck pain, headaches, migraines from simple things like hearing foil paper and a potspoon scraping a pot. So much more. It's a never ending roller coaster ride. Just stumbled upon this video and will definitely try this exercise and see if it will help me.

Several days before I started this vertigo episodes, the climate was very hot, I was drinking beer, Not hydrating properly with water. So I assumed that those things triggered the problem. I practiced the exercise, Two sets different days. After the first set, honestly, I felt grounded. As a holistic believer, this method, increases knowledge & consciousness for our bodies. Dr. Mandell, this is the exercise I have been looking for all my life. My neck has been the bane of my existence since childhood and I have searched for relief from doctors and tried many exercises. If only I knew about this one. On a recent long shopping afternoon I felt dizzy, muddleheaded and out of sorts and thought it is my neck, of course. I remembered this exercise and stopped short and did this exercise in the store. I held it for ten seconds, could feel the stretch in the back of my neck and all my symptoms disappeared. I became clear-headed and steady and felt great for the rest of the day. Since then I do this exercise every day and every day it relieves symptoms immediately. I also do your every day neck-stretching exercises. You have helped me immeasurably, Doctor, and I hardly know how to thank you for this.

THIS. IS. AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for this (and so many other) well explained, factual, researched, and easy to understand videos! I've had so many doctors blow off or simply offer me medication to mask unexplainable health symptoms, and I'm so glad that I've found resources like yours online to help me understand how my body works (and how to help it work healthily), after finally getting desperate countless times, being told that my concerns and thoughts about my health challenges were invalid, being laughed at, and even having doctors become upset at me when they had addressed my symptoms with typical treatments and I had only continued to get worse. A doctor asked me once, after I had inquired about more options and he had responded by informing me that he had tried the typical treatments that should have worked, so "what do you want me to do?"... I was too choked up at the realization that he had given up on helping me to reply, my eyes had filled with tears, and I was so ashamed that I had upset him and that the issue was clearly just ME. What I had wanted him to do was to keep trying. I grew up thinking that doctors would keep working to figure out what was wrong with their patient, and have a full understanding of how and why they had an illness and how to best treat and manage it. I've come to learn that most doctors I meet seem to have very little curiosity in investigating any health condition that isn't clear cut and obvious

Mind blowing! I suffer from sinus infection and neck pain, tinnitus, problems with my balance. Clearly all linked to something. Working for more than 17 years in a lab with my head down. I am looking for something that brings me back to feeling back to normal. I have started watching your videos. After just 6 of your stretching exercises my nose started draining fluid out . Clearly unblocking all the trapped fluid !! I am glad to have found someone with a holistic approach . Many thanks for helping so many of us.

This is great.. I didn't know the eyeballs made such a connection to those muscles. I feet the burning when starting the exercise. May I share what I have been doing for this. After a morning shower, I apply a heavy layer of caster oil over that area of the neck followed by an almost scolding hot face cloth as hot as I can get it. Reheat and apply the towel 2-3 times and then dry off and get dressed. The caster oil seep right into those muscles and loosens everything up. Castor oil has excellent anti-inflammatory properties. I would suggest these exercises right after this soak. Great video thanks..👍

Thank you thank you thank you! I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia (V1 and V2) 8 years ago, despite clear MRI and CT scans. My life has been hell living with constant intense pain around my eye.... the past 2 months I have sufferred from severe vertigo to the point that ER thinks I am having a stroke. Then recently a specialist said my only problem is tension and that I do not have trigeminal neuralgia, rather, my pain in my face together with the light sensitivity that no glasses or eye drops can cure are due to loads of tension in my neck. I must start with physiotherapy immediately. I have always told people that the extreme pain and light sensitivity in my left eye makes no sense but no-one can help me , just more medication on top of existing medication and living a life with no purpose, pain medications and an icepack on my face. Thank you for this, I believe that this will solve the 'trigeminal neuralgia'-curse once and for all, and 8 years of very expensive unnecessary suffering.

Thank you so much! I am a published author who doesn’t write anymore because I was having problems on the computer. They told me it was a vestibular disorder, which I believe them but it seems like you broke down my issue with more, helpful detail and now I understand it more. I know that a lot of my vertigo and balance issues are connected to the movements in my eyes. I’ve been doing your compression on the wrists exercise to balance the meridians. That was another excellent video that you posted awhile back. I’ve been doing it ever since then and that has helped me tremendously and now it looks like I can add this into the mix. Thank you! God Bless!

I did the exercise again very early this morning as I had the headache, stifness in my shoulders and neck and after a while I definitely again felt better. It's now lunchtime and I'm back to stretching my neck, absolutely unbelieveable! All of this constant pain is rapidly coming to an end. Nothing I did to relax helped at all, I am amazed. Definitely still sore and I do have a high pain threshold but for me this is like a miracle. I'm going to do this continuously to ensure I relax to the fullest, with or without pain as I seldom feel pain which drains me of energy. Today I'm not nearly falling off my feet as often as I did the past few weeks 😉I'm so grateful Dr Mandell, this renewed my life. Thank you ♡♡♡

I understand this :) Videolytics shows me this, however, my point here is that this Dr is so awesome and shares so much for free of some high tech knowledge stuff that are at the same time simple excercises and get so much done because of the specific points being worked. Plus you can tell he really wants to help, I at least resonate with him and his videos very well and I beleive he deserves even way more likes than that, hehe, but yes I do understand it is actually rated 100% like ratio right at this very moment :)

I can't wait to try this. I've been plagued with headaches, migraines and eye pain for years. GP prescribed various meds, I've had CT scans and examinations by opthalmic surgeons but nothing has worked. I've suspected for a long time that my headaches were triggered by looking down (reading, ipad, sewing) but never heard anyone else say it. I'm praying that this works! 🙏🏻 ❤
