I enjoyed the follow on questions. It might be an idea to do all 50 questions as follow ons one time? Would be interesting to see how the questions evolved and where we end up. I notice in one if your replies that you say that deciding what questions to ask was one of the hardest parts of compiling these quizzes in order to have a good balance of difficulty. Making all your questions as follow ons might make life easier for you as the connected questions will come to you as you go along and take some of the decison making out of the equation.

Al dente (meaning "to the tooth") refers to pasta being cooked to still feel firm, not mushy, when bitten into. Lenin, leader of the Bolsheviks, is shown in that partially covered photograph. I hadn't done your quizzes in a while... and am yet to try your new app. Shame on me! My score today: 45/50. Thanks for making learning so much fun!

No need to download anything. It's not an app, just a good old fashioned website. Like Google or Wikipedia. There's no downloading, no login, no personal information, nothing. Just a website full of fun quizzes to play on the web. 👍

I got 43/50 and I feel pretty good about that. The questions weren't super challenging, but I do like that sometimes. It can be very discouraging to get low scores all the time because the questions are too tough. A happy medium is nice, but since everyone has different strengths of knowledge, that makes it hard for the quizmaster. Anyway, this is all just to say that I really enjoyed today's quiz, Ben. ♥ And the follow-on questions are good, too.

İ got 39/50,, however, if İ can count the bonus that Al Dente means to the teeth İ get 40/50. İ have absolutely no chance with your quiz on the phone as İ am absolutely useless with anything like that, İ cannot even use my smart phone properly. Great quiz thanks. Oh, yes , liked the follow on questions as long as you had something to follow on from, haa haa.

Hi Ben great quiz. I had 47/50. I got the wedding anniversary, deuterium and the watchmaking questions wrong. Was this quiz easier? It seemed easier but I suppose it's just your luck what comes up.

Glad you did well. I didn't try to make it easier, but sometimes the questions I come up with are just more well known subjects. Other times I think they are easy and everyone scores low. I try my hardest to make them at a level that the average person would have a good chance of getting enough right to enjoy the quiz, but still feel like it was a challenge. Believe me, it's no easy feat when you have a worldwide audience of hundreds of thousands. 😳

I got 48/50. I'm so proud of myself ❤❤❤❤

Hi Ben I've just been playing your new quizamp quizzes for the past 30 minutes. I prefer them because although they're still multiple choice (that really helps😅) but there's no time limit when answering them so it goes more quickly plus there's such a variety of quizzes. Thanks so much for all your hard work in putting something like that together. Truly appreciated!

@@Quizzes4U Hi Ben I think the only thing that confuses me a bit is when I get to the end of a quiz it says "play another quiz." Then below that it says "play the NEXT quiz." When I clicked on "play ANOTHER quiz" a different topic of questions appeared eg I was answering Geography questions then it jumped to a quiz about movies. I haven't tried clicking on "play the NEXT quiz." Guess I must just play around with it and see what pops up. To me it would simplify the website if it straight off stated the topics one wants to be quizzed on. Eg 1. All Geography quizzes Series 1 - 20 2. All History quizzes Series 1 - 20 3. General knowledge quizzes Series 1 - 20 etc But maybe I'm just the dumb one getting confused!

Thanks. The play next or previous should keep you on the same subject. The large play another usually takes you back to the home page. I had to do it like this to prevent a loop occurring on the latest quiz published. Thanks for the feedback. It's a new site, so I will keep looking at ways to improve the user experience.

@@Quizzes4U I can't even imagine how difficult it is to set up a website, so kudos to you. I dipped my toe into other quizzes on youtube but nothing compares to this one you developed. Great questions and a good degree of difficulty. It's a pity we can't click on the answers on the screen because it's the perfect format.

Maybe you just know more than before? I try to balance them, not too easy but not impossible either. They are always going to have some questions that are too easy for anyone who plays a lot of quizzes, but they need to have, as I make them for everyone to enjoy and if they are too difficult, people just give up. It's the most difficult part of making these quizzes. To keep coming up with a balance of new questions all the time. I'd have no problem making difficult questions, but my least popular quizzes are the most difficult ones.

@@Quizzes4U I liken myself to a gamer who prefers playing video games on a harder difficulty setting while the average player plays on Easy. (Which often really is true of me when I play video games with adjustable difficulty.) Sure, you don't always win when you play on Normal or Expert or whatever, but when you do it feels so much more satisfying, you feel like you accomplished something. I often find myself wishing the mainline Nintendo games (Mario, Kirby, etc.) were harder. But Nintendo makes the games easy because not everyone likes hard games, and I can understand this. For those who like more challenging general knowledge questions, there's a program I watch regularly on cable called Master Minds, hosted by Brooke Burns. The latest season has Mark "The Beast" Labbett as one of its titular "Master Minds", replacing Jeopardy legend Ken Jennings. And of course I catch Jeopardy whenever I can.

OMG OMG OMG !!!! My best quiz EVER !!!! I got the first 8 correct, then didn't get my 2nd one wrong until 29 and finished at 47/50 !!!
