Always great to get your notification of posting a quiz. Score this time is 50/50. Bonus...King/Queen's Guard...St. Patrick drove away snakes from Ireland and Neptune. Thanks for once again presenting us with a great quiz. I have no doubt that coming up with reasonably incorrect answers is a big problem. YOU do a very good job of that as opposed to many other quiz masters. 👍

Strange that everyone seems to be really smart, it looks like >90% getting 80% or more of the answers correctly. I “only” goy 35, and I’m totally convinced that I have “smart thinking.” (The quiz is extra tricky for people like me and those that doesn’t have English as their “mother language.) I agree that non native speakers have an additional difficulty level in these quizzes, but then again we learn new words. And i think it's because the rest doesn't dare to share their scores. (so only those who got a good score share it) Got 41 correct answers myself this time and one bonus point for St. Patrick. Although some were a guess. (like how many inches is "a hand" in horse measurement: they aren't measured in hands where i am from to my knowledge, but my hands width is around what they see as 4 inches so that's what i guessed)

There were a few answers that could be guessed with a native level of English. For example, even if you don't know where the femoral artery is, many native speakers would know that the thigh bone is the femur, and be able to see the link. Another example (for me, at least) was the question about apiculture, because I know that a bee house is called an apiary.

Didn't do so well, but hey learned what a Cooper is. Thanks!

Got 43 right, so I passed! St Patrick banished the snakes, I'm not sure about the planet, but I think it's Neptune. Also the guards, again not sure, but possibly the Lifeguards. Enjoyed this one...thanks Ben.❤

They keep changing if Pluto is a planet or not. At the moment it isn't so the answer would be Neptune. But next week it could be a planet again🤣 and the other one is the Kings Guard. Thanks for playing and commenting

Thanks for commenting 😄. St Patrick is correct. The guards are called the Kings Guard (Beefeaters are at the Tower of London). The planet that takes to longest to orbit the sun is Neptune. (Although some people have understood that question as which one of the options, so in that case Saturn is correct)

I got 44 of 50 and the planet with the longest year is Neptune and of the three options, Saturn.

47/50, not too bad, I guess. The snakes were driven out of Ireland by St.Patrick, and the picture showed a King's Guard. #2, my Moto Guzzi is very musical and can be considered the Stradivarius of motorcycles (not really).

Thanks for commenting. They're only easy if you know the answers. I try to include questions that most viewers may have knowledge of, so if you play a lot of quizzes then they might seem easy to you, but for a wide audience they are about the right level. 😁

And yet, the majority of quiz takers still beat me, I certainly don't claim to be a Mark Labbett-type trivia genius. I'm just a broke guy from Mississippi, USA who seldom gets out much and has a lot of time on his hands.

The question asked what keeps the earth spinning on its axis. It didn't mention orbiting. Inertia is the only correct answer

A word of caution The office in North America started Steve Carrel. So I get to claim 44 correct not 43.😋
