Kids so lucky to have a dad who knows how to sea fish. I too had a father who knew how but never took the time to learn. Now I love fishing and dont have all that knowledge. Luckily I can learn from guys like this. Awesome vid.

Hi Xander. Been following you for a while and love your amazing content. Here's a question though: can you run through the conditions needed for a cob? pushing/pulling/ where to look in the surf/ time and so on? I have struggled the last few months on catching a cob and that's with following your bait presentations so I think the only thing I'm doing wrong is where to throw in what conditions. Something like that would be greatly appreciated. kind regards

Thanks! It is because of the braid! Braid is more direct, more sensitive, has less drag in the water and is way stronger and durable than mono. Briad on a multiplier does not cast too great. Before grinders I fished a lot with braid on my multipliers for certain species, but you cant reach the distance with a multiplier and braid as with a multiplier with mono. But the grinder allows you to get even more distance with the braid. The drag systems on grinders are a lot stronger than multipliers as well. You can pull a fish(sharks) way harder and faster on braid and a grinder as to mono on a multiplier. Grinders have way more advantages to multipliers. Hope this answers your question🤙🏻

Must you hide the foam or dangle with the bait? In other words, does the dangle scare fish off? Especially if it’s an orange dangle?
