the thing i enjoy the most about watching video's of fishermen from different countries is the different ways of fishing, especially when watching south african fisherman its soo interesting watching people fish for the same fish that we catch here but do it completely differently

Great fish, strangely here in C.T. those fish average catch is around 5kg. Seems the big one's move up the coast. They very strong swimmers.

Very nice catch. Your videos are awesome and I am really soaking up your knowledge. I have a question though. Why, then battling a fish, do you move away from the surf and even unto the dune behind? (increasing the distance between you and the fish) I have seen this in the big kob videos as well. I would have thought to move closer toe the water and actually into the surf the lessen the distance and get as much line as possible as quickly as possible unto the reel. Certainly I am missing something. Please help me out.

They work way better with the braid, the grinders today are incredibly strong and can handle lot of pressure, but the main advantage is all the advantages that braid offers.

Yes I use it on the rocks, I use it everywhere! It has even more benefits when fishing in rocks.

Nope, usually just hold the spool, one hard hit and it either comes loose or the sinker trace pops
