Madonna also kissed Christina in the same performance but the cameras barely caught the end of it because they had been focused on Justin's face.

Dani and Ashley together are just adorable! Nice to see Kalilah, and Will appear more often. Alex too but Martine back after a bit of an absence is AWESOME!

Don’t forget Queen Live Aid Performance before Mercury’s passing came later on 1991. To me, it’s the #1 whenever you think of the best performance in music history.

Stevie Nicks singing the song she wrote about him breaking her heart TO HIS FACE, in front of God and everyone is absolutely ICONIC. I rocked my daughter to sleep to this song and now I'm rocking my daughter's daughter to this song. ICONIC!!!

Hold on, so I get that these people don’t know who Metallica is but the person with the “FACTS” is just so wrong. This performance did NOT blow up Metallica, their black album and constant touring around the world is what did that. Also there are more interesting facts about this show 1. It was a festival, other bands to play were Pantera, The Black Crows, and AC/DC closed the show. 2. It was a free concert 3. The concert was a gift to the “young people”. There was an attempted coup to seize control away from Mikhail Gorbachev. People protested this coup and stood in the way of tanks, the coup failed. Gorbachev asked the youth what he could give to them and they asked for a rock concert. This is that concert.

Martine, that is why I like you on these episodes so, so much! Round 2 and you're not even trying! I LOVE it! Music plays and the head and shoulders get in on the act. I'm not sure about knees and toes because they're hidden under the table, but I'm sure they're joining the party. Lol

The Metallica one where the crowd was huge. And it's called Enter Sandman. It was after the Berlin Wall came down. And Pantera was also part of the concert.

i'm surprised miley's vma performance wasn't included cause that was the most controversial performance of 2013

I find it funny how still to this day it is still known as "the kiss". It's like people don't know she actually kissed BOTH Brittney AND Christina.

It wasn't the kiss it was kisses. She kissed both, and because they cut to show justin's reaction they missed the kiss of Christina.

The fact they didn’t show the clip in the Metallica Moscow show of the helicopter hovering like 100ft above the crowd was a missed opportunity 😅

What about Jimi Hendrix performing the national anthem at Woodstock 69? I also thought of Queen at Live Aid. There’s also The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show or The Beatles Concert on the Rooftop. Clearly we need a part 2.

I'll say a personal favorite for me in terms of live performances was when Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz got so FUNKY performing Higher Ground at the 2004 VMAs

There's gotta be a second part for this. So many great live performances missing - Queen Live Aid, Nirvana Unplugged, Iron Maiden at Rock In Rio, anything by Rammstein...

How can you not have Queen at live aid on here?!?!?

They were amazing live! Silversun Pickups opened and Muse played for so long. I'll never forget

I remember watching the Britney-Madona-Christina performance when it first happened, and the reason it was such a "shock value" moment is because people already knew Christina was openly bisexual. So seeing her and Madonna kiss was no biggie. But BRITNEY on the other hand? That was new territory and people just ate it up.

One live show that should have been on here was when Pink Floyd performed in Pompeii back in 1972 for absolutely no one. It's so breathtaking and electric and haunting.

People keep talking about Justin Timberlake's reaction to the Madonna Britney Christina kiss... but all I could focus on was Mary J. Blige behind him with a pained face probably thinking "LAWD here these heffas go..." 😂😂😂

Such a great Music Video Playlist! I appreciate their level of commitment to put on a memorable show by doing things like holding a python, telling their life stories in front of a crowd as a stranger, and literally performing on a bed.

The thing that still doesn’t make sense is that Justin was welcomed back a couple times but Janet is still barred from performing again at the Super Bowl.. it’s clear why they won’t let her come back and perform

It's probably cause he had his ass grabbed and was ground into but no body parts made it on the screen. Although I will admit it's a bit hypocritical that they allow public nudity at pride parades but still gripe about it at Super Bowl. But have we considered that maybe it's Janet who doesn't wanna go anymore? Or has that been covered and I missed it?
