I’m glad he is back and I loved the way they did it but imagine they did another food battle and Ian squashed the rest of the cast easily with the pink frosted sprinkled donut and right when they are about to announce him the winner you see “A NEW CHALLENGER IS APPROACHING” and you hear slow clapping, and out of the shadows walks Anthony, who delivers some line like “good job, old friend, but now the real show begins…”

The fear in his eyes when ian doesn't even flinch at the question (not even mentioning laughing) is palpable.

as cool as it would be if Anthony did a one-off appearance eventually, it must be said that the longer he refrains the funnier the "where's anthony" bit gets.

It possible Anthony may come as a guest some day now that Rhett and Link own Smosh. Anthony issue were never with Ian or the smosh cast. His issue were with the company that owned Smosh at the time Defy Media. They pretty much control everything about the channel and he and Ian had little input or creative control.

Just feels a little cheesy and I miss when just Keith,cort,Olivia,Noah, and Shayne would film:( it was legit so funny but adding all these new people are not really a nice touch you know… like I love Jakie and Damien but I just don’t feel like they are good with the vlog squad you know what I mean?

Anthony Padilla was one of the two original founding members of Smosh along with Ian Hecox back in 2005. Anthony left Smosh back in 2017 to pursue his own career, and since then it's become a meme to spam the comments of Smosh videos with "Where's Anthony?" So they're making a joke about him leaving because people still ask where he is even though he's been gone for 5 years.
