Who decided to not even show the prize. Seeing everyone's reaction of what they missed out because they did eat was always fun. Why punish the viewers? I already figured out what the punishment was going to be with Nicole's hint in the beginning so that wasn't even a surprise. At the very least they should show it at the end with Ash and Nicole enjoying it

honestly if this is a new rule I'm not going to end up watching. Don't punish us the viewers from seeing the prize food. we sat through the video and seeing the prize food is like the best part. This honestly ruins this series for me.

I loved this episode (except for the "no prize reveal" thing. Please don't make that permanent. The cast reacting to their failure is a HUGE part of watching) and the cast was perfect. Y'all ALWAYS make me smile Thank you!

The reason this show is so loved is because the viewers get to put themselves in the shoes of the reactors and it feels like we’re playing too so see the prize is like a reward for those watchers who think they could make it all through and want to see if it was worth it or noy

Seeing the prize is apparently an integral element. We need it. I don’t care if all of them lost. I want to see it.

I'm super disappointed with the new rule. My boyfriend and I watch amd mentally play the game together to see who would make it and if the prize/punishment was worth eating foods or waiting. I know a lot of other people feel the same. Taking away the price at the end just ruins a great element of the video. 😕

Exactly. I can see them losing viewers because of this new bs rule. I like to either guess the prize, or be like nope wasn't worth holding out. WE didn't do anything wrong, so why are WE punished too? I also wonder if she didn't even make a prize knowing no one would hold out

I'm reading the comments and I'd say EVERYBODY hates the new rule lololol And firing Chef Ash is waaayyy too drastic!😮 She's delightful, except for this one "glitch in the matrix" moment. And ... she wears fries on her head! 😂

why wouldn’t you show the prize? That’s the whole point why some of us watch this show. I like the creative aspect of it and the prize everyone looks forward too. Viewers included.

Not showing the prize was a pretty bad choice. The audience looks forward to seeing what it is, and the reactions of the people who do/don’t get to eat it is a huge part of the fun of this series. Big disappointment.

Honestly, not sharing the prize was kind of a bummer. The audience could’ve at least seen it. No doubt it was a Krusty Burger & a Duff, but still. Y’all really couldn’t have shown it?

@@ciellover13 even if no one gets to try the prize due to everyone trying the previous dishes and/or no one having a "Get Out Of Punishment" card, we like to see what Chef Ash pulls off for the reward and she took that from us! I think the most impressive reward Cef Ash has made is the tempura eggs Benedict from Food Wars.

Showing the prize actually part of the punishment and you just get rid the most important thing of this segment

the new rule kinda discourages viewers to watch till the end of the video if we already see earlier on that nobody's going to win. the prize is supposed to be this big reveal, the highlight of the video. it doesn't really make sense not to show it! hope you guys reconsider this or at least publish another video showing the prize from this video

The new rule legitimately makes me less likely to watch. I enjoy seeing them lament after what the could have had. Part of me thinks maybe chef Ash just couldn't think of a prize this time or the donut was meant to be it but everyone had already lost anyway.

You could at least show the prize at the end, the participants may have lost but why should the audience lose as well? We like the show as is, this "new rule" isn't fun at all.

The prize is a huge draw to watch until the end. Honestly if the prize isn’t shown, I probably won’t watch try not to eat videos. I love seeing what is chosen as the big prize and playing along judging whether the prize was worth “eating” the foods featured in the rounds.

I think the contestants SHOULDN’T be able to see the prize but the viewers SHOULD be able to see it. I have to say that was the main reason I finish watching the videos.

General consensus is that the viewers hate Chef Ash’s new rule. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Im going to be less likely to watch these any more if you dont show the prize at the end its honestly one of the reason why i watch the whole episode.

Not showing the prize makes no sense to me. Not only does the audience obviously wanna see what the prize would have been, but also I feel like if the cast saw it they would regret the choices even more. Idk i don’t get it.

Now don't get me wrong, I love people versus food. But what's with this whole "Eve bit the apple and so now all chicks have to bleed for the rest of forever" nonsense? If the contestants aren't allowed to see the prize if everybody eats, then why can't you just record it separately so that viewers get to see it but they don't? Please? We love seeing Chef Ashes cooking and that's one of the best parts of the show. Don't take it away from us now.

And what about the Get Out Punishment Cards etc. they’re much more effective if they see the prize. Like if I were playing I’d endure some of the punishments if the prize wasn’t great, but if that prize was like super awesome I’d turn in my Card to get it. And they’re not getting that opportunity. If they can't see the prize then they might as well eat the food knowing there's nothing coming. Well done for taking the core of the excitement away for all of us.

Not getting to see the prize was a big letdown, I can see the comments pretty much all felt the same way! Also this punishment looked delicious! Making really good food a little too spicy really isnt much of a punishment :(! Hopefully the next one is better :)

Depends on your heat tolerance. I have no tolerance due to bad acid reflux. It can be a bummer missing out on good food just because of that.

The prize should have been shown even if they lost. What's the point of just going straight to the punishment when making them see what they could have won, to punish them even more, and to just show us what they could have gotten too. It makes this episode feel very lacking.

How are you gonna punish the audience? What about the Prize Food series? Just say you had no budget for the prize dish.

Nah not showing the prize is a huge cop out, by showing the prize you get to give the reactors an extra dose of punishment for failing the challenge and by not reveling the prize you also take away the choice of the reactors to use their reward cards, if they feel the prize is worth it! Recently the prizes haven't been as impressive as they could've been and unfortunately I believe that's the reason for this uneducated new rule!

This new rule of not showing the prize is freakin BS and maybe even to get people with cards to play them....

The whole part of the punishment, is showing the prize they missed out on. Such a silly new rule!
