I can ignore the corny music, but that heartbeat sound is so abrupt it ruins the moment. Still like these videos though.

I hate the music overlays. It's usually too loud and you have to struggle to hear what the people are saying. I want to hear every sigh and sob.

The older man at the end was beautiful to see. To go his whole life without color & to see finally after 70yrs is just amazing in every way.

It is like these people's portal to a whole new world, to a colorful world, Thank God for the Scientists behind this invention, others may say 500$ is too much price for it, but im pretty sure they've also sacrificed so much time to create this gift, what is that value for a chance to see the world in full colors, Imagine if everyone in the family chips in to buy a pair of these glasses to be given to an unfortunate family member. Im really emotional watching these videos, it makes me realize the things that have been taken for granted, and that is our colorful nature/world.

I think color blindness is almost always associated with the Y (male) instead of the X (female)chromosomes

yeah its associated with male because male only has 1 x chromosome (XY), so if they get only one recessive gene it will expressed..for female since they have 2 x chromosomes (XX), they need to inherit 2 recessive colour blind gene to get express..thats why its so rare in female..

Amber Dickerson lol no, what an odd thing to say. Colour blindness is a sex linked genetic condition. Women require it on both X chromosomes for its expression, males need the genetic abnormality on their sole X chromosome. Results in 100x more often in males

When I was watching these clips about people hearing voices or seeing colors for the first time, I was thinking that we, who could see colors and enjoy them or could hear and talk are not grateful and instead we always think about stupid things we don't have.

Seen lots of these videos and they are usually so overwhelmed they dont hear other people asking them questions and often they hold on to someone or something as if to ground themselves..can't imagine how they must feel!
