Mine is always there, but gets thicker depending on circumstances. Especially if I've had a drink or 3... Forget it, I sound exactly the same as when I left home at 18. The folks up here in upstate/central NY gave me some real confused looks when I mentioned wanting to " drink a pop" or asked if they wanted to play "cornhole!" The gasps and jaws dropping to the floor obviously clued me in that "cornhole" meant something vastly opposite of a family game consisting of tossing beanbags! I still sounds like I always have, for the most part. But when I'm heated or passionate about my words or even just excited, there's no mistaking that I'm not from "their neck of the woods. 🤣

Keith accidentally winning this because he didn't want to get drunk makes this even funnier.

Just because Keith mentioned it, no you can NOT drink isopropyl alcohol. Yes it's often sold at 98% and 98% alcohol won't kill you, but isopropyl alcohol isn't the same type of alcohol that you drink. We drink ethyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is a completely different chemical and should not be ingested.

yeah apparently because they mix it with acetone cos we it would absolutely kill the alcohol industry to just have pure cheap 98% alcohol, but they still need to find a way to sell it for medical purposes and not make it drinkable, hence acetone

@@seignee Ispropyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol aren't even the same molecule. They do add stuff to make medical ethyl alcohol undrinkable, but isopropyl alcohol itself is not to be drunk. There's no added acetone, but your liver turns it into acetone while processing it.

TLDR: I’m very proud of Ned; he made the archaeologist in me so happy. As an archaeologist who studies prehistory, Ned was actually closer than he thought by answering “Bronze Age”! While there is evidence of “alcohol” in the Neolithic, it wasn’t truly widespread until the Bronze Age….because of agriculture! (and it was in vastly different forms in both the Neolithic and Bronze Ages than how we think of alcohol today-in Bronze Age Mesopotamia, they would use it as meals because of how nutritious and heavy it was) His explanation was so thoughtful and really showcased how great he is at breaking down problems and applying logic to questions he’s unsure about. A lot of times that kind of thing gets lost in all the jokes, but I was so proud 😭

The funniest moment of this video was Keith writing "G" like a little swirl then asking very earnestly why more people don't write it that way 😂

Not only did Keith get wasted before his dinner, but he also got presented with a ton of fast food. Imagine Becky and their dinner mate's reaction to a drunk and full Keith rolling up to their reservation in a limo, exuding the scent of alcohol and fries- the explanation being " I WON ", to which then he proceeds to fixate on Abraham Lincoln. The likelihood of this fiction actually resembling reality is slim, but not none... and THAT is something I CANNOT stop thinking about.

I love that Matt did the "try guys gay time" thing in Eugene's absence. Also, I'm a little upset they didn't mention the safety issue of the core body temperature decrease of alcohol. Matt had it right. Your core temp drops because you release more heat to the air when you flush which puts you at a higher risk of hypothermia. Combining swimming with alcohol drinking is particularly dangerous because water leeches heat faster than air

I took an Intro to Business class my last semester of college and the icebreaker group activity (aka hell on earth) was to solve a riddle about crash landing in the snow with a limited amount of supplies, and we had to rank the items in usefulness and what was needed to stay alive, and whiskey was an item. The class overwhelmingly voted whiskey super high so you could raise your body temp but we all got it wrong, the teacher said you don't ever want to drink whiskey in freezing temps if you want to stay alive

I lived approximately 10 minutes from Lefors, TX. It's a tiny town of around 700 people where nothing makes sense.

I got every last one of these questions wrong except the drunkest state one. I was literally yelling “It’s New Hampshire!” Eugene said it in the drinks from 50 states video with Kelsey!
