Temps have risen, snow has melted, and the rain has returned to good ol' Washington... So, it was the perfect time to break out the FoFF Ripper for another testing session.
TBH, I wasn't expecting much. I knew she had great wheel speed, and power; but with the cut swampers and no overdrive front, I was only expecting just some good slo-mo water works.
Had a couple runs of it getting on plane, with power to spare, so we kept filming, thinking, "Maybe it can do it like this..."
Had that one last lineup after 15 or so tries, cold wet, and ready to call it... Then she goes full Lord and Savior mode and gave us a banger!
I don't consider this a full victory tho. She bogs at the end from the swampers not being the ideal tire, and frankly, the body of water isn't very epic... BUT!!! To know that as she sits thats shes capable of getting on plane and staying there is REALLY promising.
Soon I'll have this lil 4m Ripper on some proper paddle tires I'm designing, an OD front diff, looking the part with some new panels, and a proper body of water... Then it's on...
