Thanks Kenny, this defender was a love hate relationship with me since I first got it. Now that I have had the time to invest into improving its handling and appearance it’s sure win.

if you have them could you tell me if the 2.2 mud slingers will work with stock setup without issues or rubbing they are 4.88inch tall and no one is having issues with 4.75inch tires so id like to try but don't want to do suspension lift or body lift and I don't want to push the bumper out farther

they really set the truck off but since this video I dropped her back down for the factor or its going to be used too tow some cooler rc's and boats on trailers ;-) coming soon

why didnt you mount the winch to the plate first!!?? then you dont have to drill all those holes in your bumper.....

YOu must not know how this is layed out.. to get the holes lined up correcly you take the winch off and mark the mounting holes which are on the plate on the bumper. Then drill the holes in the bumper to mount the plate.. but you must mount the wich first due to its mounted from the underside of the plate. Then the holes you drilled in the stock bumper, instal the bolts through the bottom of bumper to the mounting plate of the winch. whcih is the only way the winch mount can be mounted.. 8-) there are 8 holes total 4 for the winch and 4 for the mount which is attached to the winch.. I have a different set up now anyway lol thanks for checking it out though

Cool solution to using the original bumper with the Warn Winch. 👍

Thanks man, I couldn’t really make a decision on a bumper when the stock bumper looks fine to me on the defender. So I just went this wroute. Maybe later I’ll change it out but heck it holds the winch lol 👍🏼

ThatsMyRc, yeah looks original, I just received a metal bumper for the TRX4 will be installing it pretty soon here.

Where did you get this winch is there a part number will the stock body still fit with this how do you control it this is exactly what I want to do can’t believe this is only the second video I had to watch to find out how to do this thumbs up and subscribed

its just your rc4wd 9.5 winch, they sell a whole kit to make it remote, yes the stock body fits fine just follow this video and your good to go
