You're making me want to get back into riding. I'm in the armpit of WV where there's nothing but drugs, poverty and bullshit. There are trails for days up here though. I used to own an 06 yfz450 quad. Probably for the worst but hearing that 2 stroke makes me want to buy a banshee and fuck it up again.

Nice R, I got the same 310 kit w a trx9 pipe. The bike is light and pulls hard. I can drag with most 450s and raptors, unless they are heavily modded

Hey dude is your 250r blowing purple smoke cause it looks like it is and it looks sick. If it is is it the oil your running? Like royal purple 2 stroke racing oil or somthing?

When most of this was filmed the crank seal was on its way out so it was sucking in gear oil and burning it causing the purple smoke. I had the entire motor rebuilt shortly after.

They stopped producing 2stroke stock engines some years ago for, you know, the environment and all that stuff

Best 2 stroke quad ever made. Rite out of the box it was race ready. Some people say the banshee is better. It's not. Its just a bit faster Becouse of the bigger engine. The banshee is a shit frame that they stuffed a street motorcycle engine in. 250r is way better built with way better parts. Ride Red

The banshee is way faster the trx250 is just meant for more racing the banshee is for everything and its a 350cc v-twin not one cylinder so yes the banshee is way faster

jgaines3200 +guy6751 Im pretty sure it had more to do with pressure on honda from the government and EPA to produce a more emission friendly motor. Yamaha and Suzuki were also under fire but they had the balls to continue producing 2 stroke atvs while honda gave in and stop production. Dirt bikes can get away with it because they are sold as "closed course competition use only" so they have lighter emission laws, atvs are not considered competion use so they have tighter regulations which is also why the LTR450 is no longer in production

It was part of Honda's deal over the 3 wheeler law suits that they would not produce a high performance quad for x amount of years. All the OEM's screw up because they do not sell the quads the same way they sell the race dirt bikes. The DBs have closed course competition use only all over them. The quads do not come that way.
