No return tickets are not required to be shown. They specifically mention on the website not to book return tickets until the visa is approved.

Thank you so much for your reply. I know you mentioned that in your video that liquid readily available cash is very important to show. In my parents bank account, we showed CAD 16000 liquid money for two people and for 2.5 months stay in Canada. Do you think that is not enough or a little less in today's economy? The rejection reason was purpose of visit is not consistent with the temporary stay. I provided the invitation letter but I said my parents are financially independent and they will take care of the expenses. Some feedback from your side would be really helpful.
