in reality, i'm not to surprised that this scene gets so much attention. Honestly, this moment hit me and the entire audience harder than any other scene. This'll probably be the GREATEST scene in Gravity Falls HISTORY, Even after finding out that Stan has a brother AND his brother is the author. After everything, despite the warnings, being lied to, and realizing Stan is not only a complete "stranger" but a criminal too, Mabel found it in herself to risk the fate of the world and even possibly the entire UNIVERSE and trust him, even when she was told to trust NO ONE. I don't think any of the others could ever do that. Even Soos turned on him. It really shows you just how far some people can actually go...even risk the world and even the universe...just for a loved one. "I Mean, Who Would Sacrifice Everything They Worked For Just For Their Dumb Sibling Anyway?" The Pines Family Would ~

Mike Inel I still say you should get a studio together to make your own animated series. Not reanimating series you're a fan of (Though definitely keep doing that if it makes you happy!) but some sort of original series that you get someone to write for you. It'd be fantastic I think!

Gaaaawd, this is so good. This is why I hate it when people say "Oh, Gravity Falls would be so much cooler if it was an anime". Nah, it would be cooler if YOU made it. If I had to wager a guess, I'd say that part of the reason this animation is in this perspective is to save time and effort by only having to draw the characters at one particular angle. That's super clever, and it's from Soos' perspective too, so it makes sense!

Even more weight in this scene is the fact not only Mabel not press the button, she _lets go._ Because if what Stan said is untrue, she would be the first to die by letting go. So essentially, towards Stan, it's a "I trust you, but may my death be the first to happen if you lied to me." And to Dipper, it's a "I'm sorry I don't follow your wish, if he lied then let me die first to atone to it." You CAN'T tell me that she doesn't know the true weight of situation at this scene. She knew.

This is the best Gravity Falls fan animation I've ever seen! And it was made in a week? That's amazing good job!! And to me its kinda funny how dipper was telling her not to do it but when she does ford comes back and him in dipper do so much together.

It makes a lot of sense that this is from Soos' perspective when you remember that one episode with the Dating Sim anime girl from season 2.
