Great video Ed!!! It can be tricky to do, but like you, I always try to put some wire or string around reels like those. I think the reels hold hoses for firefighting, but could be way off. Good work on your rear deck so far.

I agree, They were probably hoses or chains or something along those lines. I can't find any pictures online showing these up close. Thank you for watching Patrick!
