You have other work to do. The rot in the party really needs to be voted out. Either by finding hopefuls in your party, and supporting them in bids for high office against those not representing the ideals, or as a worst case, voting against the party itself to remove those consumed and corrupted by their assumed power. Trump is a beacon of exactly what America does not need. Those fawning over him are part of the problem. We really need them gone from power too.

Speaking of woman. In the 90’s, I lost a child at 5 months, his name was David & I had too many miscarriages & no children. Heartbreaking!! Endo & lupus diagnosis. Never in my darkest nightmares would I have imagine the attack on women today. This abortion stance is a vile, cruel & ignorant attack on women’s minds, bodies & souls. Vengeance is Gods. Judge lest not ye be judged. He will decide if we are worthy of salvation, this is His job. Humans need to stay out of Gods business.

Your words are further proof that 45 is not, and never has been, a Christian. If he were, he never would have committed the egregious acts that he was convicted of and those with which he has yet to be convicted. Yes, you are correct. We need to turn out in overwhelming numbers to assure that our democracy is saved. But what about the next election? And the one after that? What SCOTUS has done, is bring us to the precipice of fascism. Until that irresponsible and draconian ruling is amended or changed, we are going to be teetering on the brink of authoritarianism for the foreseeable future. Such a precarious position is not sustainable indefinitely. Eventually, we will make the wrong choice and then, it's all over.

When ever have the words "i will seek retribution and vengeance" or "I'm coming after you" come from a president of the US? Maybe from Hilter or another fascist dictator, but never a president. The "transformation" is only in lip-service. the UdSSA was founded on power and continued through oppression of many. Presidents have always had immunity from accountability. The admission that the president is above the law - or rather that the law is beneath the president, but still above the people has always been there. That this doesn't reflect how you or I behave, want to behave or wish to be treated has little relevance or correspondence to this; as usual. But one must, notwithstanding of this, as Ed says, always decide to do the right thing. Love.

I usually avoid politics, here, but... I think that it's a golden opportunity for the current president to bolster treaties with the indigenous nations, implement proper appropriations for reparations to all peoples injured and put at disadvantage by our system of government, raise SSecurity, ordain a living, minimum wage, implement action aiding our battle against climate-change, drop all compounded interest on ALL LOANS, raise taxes on the rich, enact programs whose goal it is to aid all residents and homeless, to insure child-education and support and so much more - this just through decree - from which consequences he is immune.

All I'm hearing after this decision is hopelessness and fear. I don't know what to do. I just want my partner to be okay.

I am a Christian who doesn’t go to church. Jesus is my Savior. I DO believe in church and state. Religion is a person’s choice as is their body and sexual preference etc . Even Jesus when asked about giving allegiance to Rome said, give Caesar his due, and God His. He understood society and knew we must live in it and we can choose to worship God without worshipping Caesar. Trump and his evangelical radicals are using hate and separation in the name of their so-called ‘god’. Not what Jesus wants I would bet. What will they answer when he asked them one day, what did you do for my down trodden and oppressed.

Some are able to have a 'Rainbow Baby' I was not because of my age. I will say take as long as you need to grieve though all the stages. I didn't go to a baby shower for 2 years. I have learned now that my baby's spirit changed their mind and weren't ready to leave heaven yet. I had to realize that God does not want bad things to happen to me. I had to accept to make the choice that I would eventually understand the lesson I needed to learn from this experience in my life. Ask for guidance from your Guardian Angel and love yourself.

This is very simple - it's elemental. SCOTUS just stated that a President cannot be prosecuted for a crime that would be deemed 'official' in office. And then, any potential offense to the people will have to be determined by 'the court system' to prove and disprove whether the action was 'official' or 'unofficial'. Now, if you support Trump and you cheer this on....just imagine when someone who DOESN'T support your world/political view gets into the White House and uses this kind of power. Vote Blue to deter tyranny. Period.

I am not being sarcastic, but how can it be true that God favors the righteous. Historically speaking, when has that happened? And how can it happen now? God is right by your side, and it is times like this that we need to trust all the more in Him and believe in Him. He wants all of us to turn to Him with all our hearts, all our minds and all our strength. Remember when troubles fell on people in the past there was a reason for it. There are too many fake Christians in this world. They use religion, the church and the Bible to justify their wickedness, for which they will receive their rewards. Our goal in life is to follow the path of righteousness that Jesus laid out for us. Every day we are to learn the word, live the word, and share the word. I have heard some trumpers saying "...Jesus does not seem to do ANYTHING..." so they turned to trump.

Some people think they are righteous - but they are mistaken

I have been and continue to be disdainful of Christianity but even I could be persuaded to be a part of a collection of people who believe in kindness and honesty only because it makes the world better not to gain favor with a diety which has caused so much bad. In America, "doing good" simply means "being a Christian," with no need or requirement for works or kindness. "Are you a good person" is how they ask if you're a Christian. They side with the rich man over Lazarus. They don't know this story since it's in a book that they cannot be bothered to read.
