Fun story - Minnesota only got real highways about 25 years ago. Hardee's is a big deal when you grow up on a farm and have to drive 20 minutes out. As a kid I caught birds with my bare hands and napped in trees. I literally punched a barn owl once for swooping on me. I did all that and I'd still give my left tit for a mushroom and swiss.

The show of goodwill that the people of Martha's Vineyard have shown to the two planeloads of migrants sent by Florida Governor Ron Desantis showcases the best of American generosity. But this is just two planeloads. That's 10 percent of the daily influx that Texas and Florida are facing. Lets wait till its 10 or 20 planeloads a day for weeks or even months, and see how long this spirit of charity and generosity lasts. The deterioration of downtown Seattle, which my wife has to drive through on her way to work every day, is a daily reminder of what happens when the liberal agenda prevails. Every business in our area has 'Help Wanted' signs, but the number of people, many of whom are intentionally homeless and unemployed, continues to rise.

You can joke about it all you want, but all these elderly gentlemen in a nursing home were happy for one evening. This might be shocking for many Americans, but this is an rather humanitarian and very human event. I wish the wishes and needs of more elderly people were so excellently taken care of. There is no rational argument against it.
