Children are not seeking asylum. Parents are using their children to try to leverage entry into the USA and they are effectively using you and people like you to this end. The alternative to not having children detained at the border with their parents is turning them away or taking them away from their parents. Keeping them with their parents is a situation their parents has forced onto everyone because they will not legally enter the country. People with your mentality and low intellect are cancer.

If ur gov doesn't meddle in Latin American politics like staging coup d'etat in Venezuela (unsuccessful) or Bolivia (successful) or setting up banana republics in Honduras, u wouldnt have so many seeking asylum in the US. Same goes to American policy in the middle east and influx of refugees in the EU.

dang, I'm impressed, I find interesting how there are people like her, who actually get on-site to do right, shame most of the congress is not like that

What? She clearly stated what order and directives the border agents follow. Now, that being said she can’t be at every border checkpoint 24/7 watching if every agent applies the directives correctly. Of courses some agents won’t follow everything’s down to the tee, they are human after all. So, yes she was unaware that at ONE check point they didn’t follow the rules before being shown the video. Immediate action should be taking against the people concern and procedures to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Now these people should be in asylum....

@@romannoodle7005 fiestas are parties, and those are quite prevalent across the states. There are just as many American drug dealers in most states. Illiteracy is still a problem, somehow, but that's just another problem with our public education system. America is a country that is supposed to be for the immigrant. @KZread Moderator but we aren't talking about illegals. We generally deport them any way, that's the whole point of ICE. But we'd have less of an issue if we made becoming a citizen more profitable, and easier to do. We have more than enough space in the States. Instead of focusing on kicking people out (something we already know how to do), we should be focusing on how to make becoming a citizen more appealing. The endgame of all of this thought should always be how our country can profit. Racism is stupid, all people were created equally. To work. To earn. To spend.

Our country exists because of immigrants. The original inhabitants are basically endangered. Illegal immigration is bad, yes, but right now we don't really incentivize entering legally. We need to change that. We are a consumer based economy, and we need more consumers. Numbers. Instead of bearing our fangs, we most open our arms.

This breaks my heart. I feel so horribly this is happening.
