Also, Melania has been MIA for awhile now. She obviously is not supporting Donald's run for office this time around at all and unwilling to do so. If I was Biden and the Democrats, I'd refuse to talk about Biden's mental health at all until the mainstream media actually talks about Trump's mental health as well. It is not ridiculous, everybody that was going to vote for Biden, will vote for Biden or another Democratic candidate. What we're trying to do is convince some people that haven't somehow made their minds up as to whether they should vote for Biden over Agent Orange. We need to focus on the people that don't have any opinion at all and/or don't have a negative opinion of Orange or Biden. Maybe they have a negative opinion of both, either way, they are the ones. This debate is a problem not just from a question of is he truly fit for office right now or not or even the next term, it's optics. I don't know how someone can be neutral but they exist and will choose the winner. if I was somehow neutral, and I saw clips from this debate, or a highlight reel from both candidates, in some way's Biden comes off the worse, because like it or not, Trump comes off way more energetic and "confident" in his lies than Biden comes off, regardless of his record or if he's telling the truth. Trying to sell to people that Biden's the right candidate by saying the people around him are great sounds good and all but in the real world I don't know that the people that we really need to change the minds of or help make a decision are going to be affected by that kind of logic. They're probably just going to go by optics. Most likely they think neither candidate will affect their life very much. I hear this all the time when I try to talk to people about politics. So whether they're right or wrong you have to convince them and I'm not sure Biden is the right person in my opinion. I feel like we need a charismatic candidate, that can stand there and clearly, concisely and confidently articulate their message. I will vote for him I'll tell anybody too vote for him. But I'm very concerned about the people that we need to convince, not the ones who have already made up their minds. I was literally gaming in my head all the positives that would come from a change of candidate b/c right now, all I see is a sinking ship with her captain going down with her. I respect Joe Biden for all he has done, for rescuing us from oranges last election, but he's not the same man he once was (watch something like his 60mins interview from 4 years ago when many thought he was to old, and compare it to any interview/speech now) and regardless of all he has done, none of it matters if he loses this election. sorry for anyone that tried to read this mess earlier, I did it hastily via talk to text and that was a bad idea. it's still a mess b/c grammar still gives me nightmares decades after out of school. I've ranted enough, I can't change anything. I live in a fascist state, maybe if ALL dems in the state voted we could win, but the U.S. is terrible at voting. I'm genuinely concerned. I just watched the Monday 7/8/24 White House press conference. The press is not very in tune with what the President is doing and where he has been since the debate. They are soooooo hung up on it. Most of the questions were about him seeing a neurologist, like as if his head had exploded. The press is definitely hindering a normal campaign for Biden.

The problem in this country is that people do not respect the elderly. They think that once you have reached a certain age, you should just lay down and die. I am of Caribbean descent and we place great value on the wisdom of the elderly. They are revered. My grandmother is 89 and although she is shaky, her mind is as sharp as I can remember. Sometimes she remembers things that my mom and I have forgotten. The fact that Pres. Biden is 81 and shaky does not mean he cannot do the job. I know people know his achievements but are worried about his future performance. Well, no one is guaranteed anything. A much younger president can also become debilitated in office. Should that happen to Pres. Biden, he does have a very capable VP and many others who can carry out his agenda. We cannot say the same about Trump. The choice is not difficult but the media is making it so. In this election, the choice is freedom vs fascism. One candidate has proven that he is fighting for the little guy while the other has already shown that he is fighting for himself and his rich buddies. Focus on defeating fascism and your choice will be an easy one.
