The unknown factor could be very strong, and it is very strong in Hungary. Party state made moral panic was, and still quite strong in Hungary. Workers need a united left, a left that isn't a Trojan beast, a left that isn't bat-shit crazy... a democratic, even libertarian, socialism, governed by those who aren't merely self-serving, who respect and protect personal liberty, while ensuring economic security and an improving standard of living. The "liberty" to debase and exploit others for personal great wealth & power, which appears to be the liberty that matters most to the right, is not the sort of liberty I'm talking about. Maybe.
