This one is the video I see recommended most for people that are new to Angelina, and for good reason. It not only shows her insane vocal ability, but even more it shows what a true artist she is. Her understanding of the music, her vocal choices, her phrasing... it's all master level stuff... from a 9 year old. It would be impressive enough if this was her only style and she used it in everything she did, but that's not the case. This is just one of many vocal styles that she has mastered. Each style she sings is just as impressive as the last, and always fits the song she is singing perfectly. She is not only an artist, but she is also a genius IMO

There are plenty of good and even great singers. Angelina is an artist, a musician. And her instrument is her voice. Like all artists she will find her preferences and continue to mold her style. Another incredible attribute that sets her apart is her character and innate kindness. You see it in her whenever she speaks. Kudos to her family, especially Sarah and Mery.

Not to forget her gift of understanding the lyrics of her covers and implementing them in her own way. This results in her inimitable feeling, which she brings to her music. I'm always amazed at how she can do it. Indescribable

Go look at her 4 Norways got Talent performances, there short, cause its a talent show. She was 7. Spoiler alert show won.

She just did “My Funny Valentine” and absolutely incredible. This song is 85 years old, and she nailed it better than anyone before her.

A once in a lifetime voice.

There could have only ever been two children singers of this unbelievable scale of talent, the other one being Michael Jackson.

I would respectfully disagree. MJ was a performer, and AJ will NEVER match him in that. AJ is a vocalist, and MJ could never match her. This is why Quincy Jones said AJ is the greatest TALENT since MJ. He knew the difference.

As a confirmed Angelicaholic, If this doesn't put a spell on you, you are already dead. This barefoot angel has no place to go but up. Jump ahead four years to her Bohemian Rhapsody performance, and you will never doubt her ability again. She is definitely getting noticed and will be big in the future.

This is not the type of music i would normally listen to, i like country and western, but this has now become my favourite song, i just love watching the reactions to this song and how it effects people, by listening i can hear how talented Angelina is. By listening to the reactions i can now better understand how hard Angelina works to produce her recordings ,, i think Angelina has also put a spell on me.😊🌏

Angelina's version of this song is astonishing. What makes it astonishing is that she at 9, is the artist who best captures the essence of Screaming Jay Hawkins even though she has cut out the macabre elements of the original. And where do you go next? In any of over one hundred different ways and styles. I do think she will be a major artist of the twenty first century. The video that started the whole Angelina Roadshow was her audition to Norway's Got Talent, Gloomy Sunday by Billie Holiday. The judges there saw what was going to come from the 7 year old. All of her early work is astonishing but get the subtitled versions or you will miss a hell of a lot of background information. You will have a great time.

As you continue on her journey and find out more about her in the comments section you will begin to realize what she means to all of us. Not only is she a once-in-a-lifetime singer but she is an extraordinary human being whose soulful voice touches our heart and to us, she is much more than a singer/artist. If this doesn't shake Screamin' Jay Hawkins out of his grave, I'd be very much surprised. It's insane that someone this young can not only sing like this, but actually arranged everything to her specifications with the band. Heard she is referred to by the band as 'The Boss'.

What I find the most impressive (apart from her voice and technical skills) is that she's a small child in this and she somehow manages to perform in a way that makes me believe every word she sings, there's almost a haunting atmosphere to this. Great reaction, don't stay away so long. She is an Artist that is beyond the norm. In this performance she had been working with this band for awhile and they referred to her as Boss! That paper she handed the Producer was last minute changes, she does all her own arrangements, since age 6. Her first time in Studio, singing Tom Jones Cover, "I Who Have Nothing", you will see her different nuances she puts into the song, making it her own, in 1 take, God Bless!

She was only 9 years old when she performed this song. It is her tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, an American singer/songwriter. He wrote and performed it in 1956 and Angelina based her performance on the original, although she did make some subtle alterations to both lyrics and melody.

Angelina not only demonstrates tasteful and genre-accurate use of so many vocal effects, but she also gets the emotional tone right, too...at 9 years old! She wrote her wishes for the arrangement and by the end the band called her The Boss. Her grandmother is Persian, and I at least think the run in that last phrase is a nod to that. Honestly I prefer her jazz interpretations. She has done a no growl version of this at maybe age 12 and I prefer it, mainly because I really fear voice damage.

This song was written by artist Baby Fuzz, and given to Angelina to record a demo. Angelina never released the song herself, but this video was made by a fan using the leaked audio from the demo.

Emma, there is a story to this video, but I won´t bore you. The musicians did not know who this little girls was, so they said, but also it is documented, after 30 seconds of her singing, they KNEW. They were working for and with their Norwegian Superstar and National Treasure (FACT, I got confirmation from Norwegians). This little girl and powerhouse, had more musical instinct in her little finger, than all those pro musicians together. Later on, whenever AJ called for them, they came running, they are her friends for live. Today, when Miss Jordan tells a pro musician, regardless of the country, that she would prefer this and that, this pro musician knows, she is right. No Joke!!! Not every artist is friends with the Jackson family, Quincy Jones, Nora Jones, It is said, Adele admires her. And who can, but won´t, call the crown Prince of Norway her friend.
