I am super excited for this. I use the flightscope mevo+ so i downloaded the software already and i can see in the launch monitor section it has flightscope in dark gray so atleast it in the program. Good sign it might be available for me soon. Thanks for the updates!!

Man. Picking a LM is tough. Looking at the Apogee and the eye xo2. Both just seem so good. Im even tempted to toss Trackman 4 in at this point.

Yeah it’s a pretty small circle but I find I hit from the same area so really ok for a user like me, not super flexible but works. Depends on the setup though for sure.

Always great stuff. What are your thoughts on the ball physics with Apex compared to others? GsPro, FSXPlay, etc? Graphics look good.

So far so good, I need to take it trough a lot more paces with different spin and decent angles etc. but as you can see in the video pretty solid so far.

If they release a compressed version for the iPad I'll scoop this up

This looks like/is an excellent tech demo released by trugolf. They just need to get more LM added and then start talking about price. The entry bar has been set, lets see if they can meet it.

Can you ask what the pricing model will look like? $2500 cost upfront is a deal breaker for alot of people on Uneekor, Foresight etc. Especially with GSPRO just being a $250 sub a year. I really like what I see but I don't think I can justify paying that kind of money to get started. THe ranges are awesome though, look forward to seeing the on course stuff, especially if they let you test out the on demand part.

They haven’t finalized anything. Sounds like the plan is to give all current subscribers access. I would assume they’ll finalize everything once it’s fully complete. It’s possible if you’re a current subscriber you get this.

Any idea how to get the club data tiles moved to the main screen? Say I want to see club path and face angle, I saw from the PGA show I could customize and have them show, but I cant seem to move them to the main practice screen.

Got it installed yesterday, so far so good. Is there an option to not place a flag on the range? If I just want to see how far the ball is going. It seems odd to have to place a flag at the distance I want. I'd rather see the ball distance rather than how close it is to pin.

They basically are placing a flag instead of a marker pole. Really the same thing. You can just look at total carry as a data point. If you do not want to play a flag you can always just click as an aim point I believe but I have not tested that yet.

Any word on E6 Apex and Mevo+ would love to either upgrade my current courses or buy a pack of 12 like they already offer for connect.

So i noticed that the post shot analysis doesn’t show up after each shot even though the setting is set to 5 seconds.. is that also something they are planning to add in the future?

I was thinking about that as well after when watching the video. I will shoot a message off and ask about that.

Their website says they are going to have about 30,000 4k courses. Almost every course in the world. That seems too good to be true. Hear anything about that? Thanks for the video!

Yes, I’ve tested it. It’s pretty wild how they are doing it. Looks very promising from what I’ve seen so far. Just not sure if any buildings etc will be rendered but the courses themselves they said are accurate and graphics looked solid. Check out my last video on it.

I hope that they changed some physics with the spin stuff. I have Uneekor QED and have seen terrible numbers from the E6 I have owned for year. It does not deal with high spin well for me where I get much longer distances as spin goes up. I have compared directly next to Ignite/View, GSPro and Creative Golf and there are up to 10 yards difference in carry on a PW and 20+ yards off on driver. So even if it looks great, if the data is still based on their old algo's, it is useless for me. And yes, I have a video of this in action on my page so I can back up the data issues.

I used to see the same thing but they gave the option to use Uneekor data instead of their own in the settings. I couldn't stand the ball spinning off the green 50 feet on wedge shots so I sold my license a while back. Guess I should have held on to it if you guys get this new software for free lol.

Will the E6 APEX update be available through the skytrak PIP plan? Or will that be something completely different than the current PIP plan through skytrak (that has E6 Connect)?

They are adding more launch monitors soon. Right now it sounds like if you have an e6 license you will have access to

They will be adding all of the same launch monitors that E6 Connect supports including QED. I will try to get a date on when those will be added. Thanks for watching!

I just asked and they said that Flightscope, Garmin, and SkyTrak are close and others will be added as they're approved by those OEM's

Is this update released yet for skytrak? I have a skytrack launch moniter and a gaming pc. Will I have the update yet?

I running i9 with RTX 3090. They are saying minimum specs will be a i7 10th gen with 16GB Ram and RTX 3060 12GB VRAM or better.

@@GolfSimulatorVideosthanks for your response! I figured you had good GPU since it was running smooth enough. Someone with 3060 12GB reported Apex very slow running.. so i believe there is some optimization to be done as well with future updates🙏🏼

Not yet, they plan to release an iOS version, but they will begin development once the PC version is complete

Pretty smooth on my end. I do cap the recording to 60fps and KZread of course does step on everything. But seems to be running normal so far compared to other software. I will try to hit some longer shots and do some more testing soon. Hoping they can get a course on here soon and demonstrate some gameplay.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos Yeah, I'd agree that the frames look far lower than your normal videos. Hoping that's just on this recording, but I know there's a lot going on and keeping it all smooth is going to be tough I'd imagine.

No way IOS would have anything close to the requirements to have any graphics over 720p

@@Lefishn I think it just depends on the approach for min requirements. If they build it to have a min spec of say a 2nd gen iPad Pro it is very impressive what you can run, but not everyone will have something like that. Hopefully they do not try to accommodate for older ipads though and find a middle ground of graphic quality and compatibility.

@GolfSimulatorVideos I just had a 10th Gen ipad with E6 for Garmin and the graphics were capped at 480p. Was so horrible and only way to get 1080p they said was desktop. That's why I built a gaming PC then for $250 GSPRO was by far the best deal cause I play at 4k Ultra. Sold ipad and will never go back cause at $250 how can you not

@@Lefishn right, that’s because they just made it the same to work on older generations. That’s why I was saying hopefully they raise the minimum benchmark and go for higher quality graphics.

I’m confused what you’re asking? This is not GSPRO, it is software by TruGolf called E6 APEX. I’ve covered GSPRO quite a bit and will continue to 👍

The distances look all out of whack on that range. Yo are hitting 70 yard shots to a target that looks like it’s over 150 yards away.

You are talking the visual feel I’m assuming. I’ll have to do some comparisons to really see, wish I had some course to compare the same shot. I don’t disagree that 70yds looks a little far when I now look at it again.
