Hey whoteewho I am starting a channel currently doing firearms reviews and hunting content with said firearms. Do you have any recommendations or tips on how to make/improve content also what do you film on and what mounts do you use to hold your cameras. I’m a huge fan of your channel and I would really appreciate any knowledge you have. Also how do you get sponsorships and what would you say is the minimum subscriber/views that you had to get before gaining recognition from shootsteel or clearballistics.

Trigger that light i'm willing to bet it has a reduced power striker spring in it. If you put a standard spring in there it should fire it off, with the tradeoff being a bit heavier trigger pull. Take the bolt apart and put another spring in there and see if that works. Springs are cheap.

@@gs4811 Yeah so I just discovered, I never really looked into custom builds until I built my 1911's , SKS ect in the last 6 years or so I always used my rifles as they were, primarily because my deer rifles have mostly been levers ,model 70 and weatherby , looks like I missed out lol , I remember seeing those 700's really cheap for decades, I know back in the 90's and early 00's I was very pleased and proud with my weatherby's and guys always talking about what a bargain the Remington was and how much they loved it ,about every one had one it seemed

  • @gs4811

@@wolfmanrebel874 I just realized my comment could have come off condescending. I didn't intend for it to. It's funny how things change though. When I was first getting into it, the 700 was the start to an expensive build. The Weatherby was the Cadillac of hunting rifles, especially long range hunting. Savage and Howa were the best options for a sub $1500 long range build. Barrel, action, new bedded stock. Now Savage is the cheap start to a high end build and actions I've never heard of are the "top of the line." Weatherby still holds their place as a solid hunting rifle. I love em all though. If it goes bang, chances are, I'll enjoy it.

@@bwjc6561 I can totally see how people are making assumptions regarding this ammo based on this series of testing. Any person who spends a lot of time behind a rifle can agree that this review has no controlled level of testing, from shooter, to rifle...This ammo won't make a non MOA gun suddenly shoot under MOA , nor will it make a poor shooter a good shooter. This ammo shines in the hands of a good shooter and a good gun...and by "good gun", I mean a gun that has a quality barrel that will shoot "more than" just 1 brand of ammo under MOA. This is not a fair test for this ammo...support made in America guys and give these guys time to prove themselves. And don't make the mistake of thinking this ammo is $10 per round....that was a special box, etc, which I own 2 of by the way. The 20rd boxes of ammo are priced right in line with any custom high grade ammo out there. I reload brass ammo "everyday" and still support these guys on this venture....and lastly "all" plastics are polymers, but not all polymers are plastics...stop calling this ammo plastic.

@@ihunt_ do you work for them or something?,so far this ammo hasn't impressed the majority of viewers. I could piss over anything this has done so far with mid range ammo and with hand loads (which I am not particularly experienced at). We have all seen what WTW can do at 100 with his cz 7 62 x39 so there is nothing wrong behind the gun.

Suggestion, compare the primer strikes on the bullet that fired in the Ruger compared to the failed attempts on the 700. See if there is a difference in depth, if any. Also, compare the first test sight in bullets on the 700. You may have to disassemble the 700 bolt and clean or install a strong firing pin spring. Good luck and tell us how you solved the problem.

Hey Adam From what I could see on the video it looks like a very light strike there’s not much of an impression in the primer maybe try a heaver striker spring in the bolt , I had this problem with one of my rifle a while ago and a heaver spring fixed it only a 5 minute job , Steve from Australia .

As with blue plastic ammo I wonder if the case head is slightly out of spec I know that the blue plastic training ammo is not 100 percent to Sammi specs for the bolt faces which causes a lot of light primers strikes. I watched a video on it not sure if it was iv8888 or someone else but they explained it. Small chance it’s the issue here but I’m willing to bet it’s the striker spring with a trigger that light. I’d start there or mention that to whoever you take it to

WHO_TEE_WHO this range session has been reminiscent of the last couple I've had. Had to replace firing pin assembly in the little Savage 308. Scope base came loose, (second time this happened). Removed, bedded and loctite. Next session I find after removing Savage stock, I should've did a refresher on assembly sequence. I did check torque on screws. Went from under .5 moa to 1.5 moa at 100 yards!😳🥺 Not to mention 15 rounds to figure it out. So Savage guy's, if you are running a factory stock. There is a sequence to follow replacing stock. My memory isn't the greatest so I will remedy this by bedding the stock myself,(winter job).
