Probably need a course on how to edit these vectors and start generating entire brand guidelines with it as well as packaging design. 👌

Do you have any idea how to get more simple results? I told it to generate a simple redwood tree black and white but the results are very artsy. I also told it to draw me a Perfect circle and it drew me a very artsy circle with a bunch of unnecessary extras

it amazes me that people who claim to love design, love using tools that make it easier to not design anything🤔

Being able to generate vector icons is huge.

These new tools are great, I'm happy to have AI in Ai! When you were using generative recolor on the pattern, I think you only had the background selected and that's why the color of the objects didn't change between variations.

You sir are creative. It's one thing to have an ai. It's another thing to actually be creative

Some of the results are great, some are what you're describing.

The best part about this is just how easy it is to delete the unnecessary things AI decides to throw in the mix at times. I remember having to edit out random objects in Midjourney generated images that I used for a blog that I wrote. This would make the entire process a whole lot easier

This is amazing! Omg!

Great new tools. The results look good but IMHO not good enough for professional graphics. That's good news for designers and artists because it won't be long before we see a flood of AI generated vector graphics out there that anyone can recognize. I see this as an inspiration tool to rapidly generate multiple styles, pick on and recreate it properly.

This is a game changer.

It looks *exactly* how I'd expect AI vectors to look. :)

"..so take with that what you will...that is cool." ..i laughed when you said that, because, YEAH, that is awesome. I wish we had this when i took my graphic design education back in 2006. This honestly makes wanna jump back into the Adobe world, but it is just too expensive.

8:40 sitting in a…drop shadow. It’s a bit wierd that it’s blue but that’s what it is.

using any sort of ai generating art is fine. u just drag it into illustrator and live trace it and youll get it as vector.

Yes, however, the end results are usually very heavy with anchor points. It makes making modifications difficult, and worse, it results in unnecessarily large SVG file sizes.

People sell those patterns on Creative Market for thousands of dollars. What are they gonna do now!

its not bad for the vector artists because the quality of this is traaaaash

I do mention in the video that this does not replace quality illustrators, obviously. But when you need something quick, or need an idea, it has a use case.

Compare midjourney v1 to v5. And that is just a 1 year difference.

Why is it so importend for you to be on the movie, that you hide for the panels?

It's disgusting. Adobe is attacking graphic designers, their main customer segment. For now the images may seem crude, but see how much Midjourney changed in 1 year

@@Onnya-Lemox Sadly you are right. They have no choice but to play catch-up. I read a Forbes article, which said that on Adobe's internal Slack channel employees complain that working on this AI stuff is making them "depressed" and cause them to have an existential crisis. It's tragicomical, Adobe's own staff is depressed by AI

The results are really poor in my opinion. They seem like It just rendered an ai image and then poorly vectorised it.
