man you really buffed up compared to the last time I watched your video, but that hair's gotta go
Bro I dont get why any of the images move on my ticker.... wft?
😁😁
Awesome stuff
Is there a video on coding a responsive site for desktop, tablets and mobile?
Malmsteen who??!!!
Yngwie have no ego.
Hilarious!
@@DesignCourse It was sent to outta space because no roof can fit it.
This is a pretty bad tutorial in my opinion. This is so much easier when you use auto layout instead of this manual placing and scaling. Not sure why you would teach people like this.
I had the same feeling. As a self-taught UX designer, I struggle with adopting best practices in responsiveness, and I find the variety of resources available quite confusing. Properly done responsiveness is a big deal for a UX and effective collaboration with developers in the end. I'm wondering if there are specific principles to follow rather than manually adjusting elements. For example, should there be standardized font sizes for different screens and an auto-layout system that ensures appropriate, adjusted white space and button sizes, breaking points...? While it's possible to do the job manually like this, I'm curious if this approach is considered professional, especially for someone with more experience. Or, is he just doing this for demonstration/challenge purposes and is actually expected to handle it differently?🤔😂 Help! 😂
Malmsteen of course! Heheehhe great vid.
Yes we get you lift weights but you're no Arnie ffs. Stick to what you do best and wear a jumper.
I'm too lazy. I wore that to the gym right after shooting the video. I'm a skinny muscleless punk, but I don't care.
You look good bro, the guy above is just jealous.
thank you for the free education
How many keyboards did you crush with those biceps?
Funny you ask, I recently dropped my wireless keyboard and had to buy a new one. I am going to break my broken keyboard in half in one of these future videos.. You know, something like, "Stop BREAKING your layouts!" while I split it in half over my knee? yaaaa???
Why do all the designers say that pages should look good on all devices, but never design for smart TVs or smart watches? <320px or biger then >2800px
Good point! Same concepts still apply. But then again, not every website or app must work on smart watches.
"Look good on all Desktop and mobile devices"
@@adebayoaladetimi2874 this is not true... Are you viewing your site on an Iphone 5 on old Safari? These mobile phones are used in a poor countries
Remember, submit your entry by 1pm est today for a chance at being reviewed! Submission details are in the description.
1. more on cards design section. 2. text layout section challenge(if there are only two or three paragraphs, with no image, how can we make it look good) 3.how to put image and what should be the background section color and side text color to make this section look good with selected image. i.e. pictures like corporate or profile pictures.
let's go!
here for an another challange, lets go!
FIRST!!
Tutorial summarized: huh, ah, huuuuum, oh, aaa, ha, eeuuuu, uh-oh, ugh, ah, euh, ehhh
please more videos on cards section, and also, how to frame text only (about section) in landing page.
yo...haven't seen your vids in a long time, but bro... you seem really jacked/shredded now haha.
Great video Gary! 👌I work full-time and it's hard to keep up to date but I'm trying my best. I wanted to ask you if it's worth it to upload the challenges after the reviews? Or should I try to be on time next time idk Anyways, loving the series!
what an epic video - badass stage, clear example - ketchup is nice, but give me real tomato, and all is missing is that you play a riff on guitar on those marshalls :D
we learn so much through these reviews!
Right now, I am a professional designer, but I still learned a lot from this video ❤❤❤❤ I love this 30-day series.
Amazing video! Subscribed
Getting your work seen gives another kind of satisfaction and happiness. (hehe enough validation for today)
Why is bro so aggressive?
Thank you for the review!
Not reviewed mine!!
I was the last one
Very nice.
You review only those designs that have to be fixed or you just pick them randomly and fix it according to your thought.?
Tomorrow, we're going to switch things up a bit and focus on responsive design with another new challenge.
Excellent video
Mine was not featured, I am pretty sure I was the first one to do it 😔 No worries, we go again!😊
when your edition is not featured you can't tell if it's too good or too bad 😂
Came on time! Been struggling with " there's something not right " in card designs lol
Hey all! Give me some ideas / suggestions on what you really want to learn during the remainder of the 30 day UI/UX series!
Designing mobile apps (best practices), dashboards and the idea behind it, how to do research before jumping into figma, and what to do if I'm stuck in the middle of the design)
Typography (fonts, letter spacing, line height, unique typography designs) and applications of this in hero designs, if not then its okay too awesome video!
Include other common pages other than the homepage.
@@mhbz157 yes please, the research and probably design process walk through 🙈
complex form design with button like previous, next, save, cancel, back, submit
30:05 That colour combination look's kinda sus
what if we are creating a from with drop dwon menu, in drop down menu we can left it empty, we have to give a placeholer in drop down menu, so here it would look bad with some fields are without placeholder and dropdown with holder , here in this case i think we have to give placeholder to text inputs also. or if you clear my confusion would be great
Maybe an OCD question-why not just frame the text only and fill the frame (autolayout, update corner radius, etc)? At 6:31, you create a rectangle and in past experience with developers, it's much easier to manage padding, etc with the frame rather than an additional shape layer. Thanks for making informative content like this video!
A video about hero sections needs a hero video intro 👍
Tried hard but couldn't share my design in time. I'll try harder next time 😅
But boxy dont require me to open an image editor, or have artistic skills
Can we have an alternative way to submit aside from X. Would love to participate but not really a fan of X 😅

This challenge needs to be continue, but my lazy ass didn't follow this and can't make this chalange get more members
bruh.. these videos and courses been down hill. My 2 cents : try complete design idea videos , not this barebones single page tom foolery that AI can do in milli-seconds.
If you rely on AI to design your pages, but you have no clue how to fix what will end up being subpar results -- you're going to be stuck with AI garbage. People who rely on AI to build shit for them is not my target audience. My target audience are those who want the ability to design from scratch. Additionally, this video series is targeted towards beginners. Of course it's going to be rather bare bones!
@@DesignCourse It's exactly what i'm looking for as a beginner btw. Thanks for the videos and files. Have bought a few courses from your website and they are all excellent
@@DesignCourse thank you so much for sharing this content. I'm learning a lot
@@DesignCourse Let's be honest, no-one mentioned relying on AI to design an entire site, you're the one mentioning that. And your perspective that everyone will be 'stuck and no clue how to fix' is just complete ignorance on your behalf, if someone is competent enough to be using AI they understand they can also prompt AI to discover, adjust, or tailor-make specific elements. Additionally, let's keep the honesty up front while were at it, your advanced design course was basic and exactly the same as this video. Where you would provide insufficient training/guides and then the practice exercises being basic and incomplete, matter of fact all the work-up exercises are entirely incomplete because none of them are a complete page design. The final project was your first mediocre attempt at strapping together a very small kinda complete project design idea. Sorry I thought Design Course was a KZread channel dedicated to teaching modern design strategies and implementations, covering topics such as UI/UX, and graphic design. Learn from expert tutorials, practical complete projects, and industry insights to enhance your design skills and stay ahead in the ever-evolving design landscape. But instead it's appearing to be a low effort loop for beginners by your logic, paid courses, and videos.
@@kingsta4145 i bought two courses and regretted it. this brutalinsights guy has a point, the content has been low effort.
Why dont i see the cards lesson in the community file yet?!
Awesome 👍
Important! Submit your designs by 1pm EST!! The sooner you submit, the higher degree it will be reviewed. If there's another design I already reviewed that is very similar to yours, I will skip your design (to avoid redundancy). Instructions in description!
bro i'm literally jealous about your studio. JK Loved Your Content 👍🏻❤
