Bet you didn't see this coming. Ha, variety is the spice of life.
Today on the channel, I take you through a 2 month process whereby a True Temper Kelly Works Axe is refinished and hafted on to a new handle for its future owner.
America has a rich history of quality made tools and implements..it is but one page among the many pages of her history. This video is my homage to that page of American history and the axe. Hope you enjoy.

Your videos get better and better. I love your mythology videos and I just got into axe restoration myself. This is great. Thank you for making these videos, you do such a great job at explaining everything.
Beautiful work! To me it looks more like a Western pattern than a Michigan. Michigans have a more rounded heel and toe.

Appreciate it. You could be right re: western vs. Michigan patterns. I've seen MI pattern axes with both rounded heels and sharper heels. This example was somewhere in between.
