Wow the faith of these men. Most of those who got older become dismissive of God. But these two are still like 19 years old guys hungry for God.

I wholeheartedly agree about these two amazing men. They are fantastic. Regarding dismissiveness of God, I haven’t actually personally noticed that aging causes dismissiveness of God. I know numerous older folks who love God and although my faith journey has been very rocky indeed, I’m 55 and by the grace of God I have only grown in my Christian walk. Maybe you’ve seen things differently, but I just wanted to share my experience. God bless

Say what? Other way around if anything. After all, the saying goes there are no atheists in a foxhole. Death focuses the mind. The closer you get the more clearly you see. The young feel immortal. The experience of life teaches everyone. I think maybe what you meant to say is how surprisingly nice to see these two wise old men speak with the passion and power of men in their twenties. Well, of course they do. Filled as they are with the power of Christ Almighty.

I love the 19 yr old confrontation testimony of Dr. lennox! I was let go by my employer of 30 years; I was asked if I had anything to say to the big wigs before leaving the office. I said "yes, tell them...that the Lord is my provider" . 😊 It is now 5 years later, and they have just now found an foreman to replace me. And God's provision for me has been "pressed down, shaken, and runneth over ", more than any time in my life. Thank you Abba Father, and Your Son Jesus Christ!!!🎉🎉😊

They are never silent for a minute during a regular movie!! The power of the Holy Spirit was so tangible as you encouraged us all in these truths. God bless you both. I will also pass this along as a resource to our young adult's Bible study. I noticed prayer requests about students having trouble with regular Bible reading, and then I watched this! True bro! Science is suppose to be true and the more truth you get the more you realize the Bible does not contradict science. The bible is more than science because there are a lot of things we do not know and by time we uncover those truths and realize the bible is true all along we just haven't uncover what it said. The problem why it is popular belief that science contradicts the bible is because the authorities in science are lying in favor of their belief in their bias science not following true science.

My husband died before I came to the point that you mentioned in the last few minutes of this video. I knew a lot of Bible before we were married (second marriage for both of us - - but that is a different story) ... but, my husband was the one to hear my confession that I had never actually read the whole Bible from cover to cover. I felt no need - - pride, I suppose, but my husband finally decided to listen to our pastor and read the Bible through on his own. I am a believer and have been since I was eight years old. My mother tried to disciple me (Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Amen!) and I was a rebellious child, however, she would "preach" and quote scripture at me, to me, around me. I clung to Romans 8:26 because I didn't understand so many things, was willful, unstable in all my ways - - you name it, it resided in me, but I KNEW I was saved, I just couldn't make myself embrace the by-and-by/pie-in-the-sky version about what was supposed to happen next (can you tell I am a child of the sixties?) At any rate, Joe kept telling me that he thought I should read the Bible through, that it would help me make more of an impact in the world for the Lord, so I finally agreed. In fact, we started reading the Bible together. We got a "through the year" Bible reading schedule and started it, "a little here and a little there" didn't fit my brain, so we started in Genesis ... let the preacher skip around, I wanted to actually READ the Bible! I was at home 24 hours a day - - I could read any time I wanted, and one of my friends told me that as a widow, whenever she had spare time, she would read the Bible - - and, I was floored! During the DAY????? the concept had never occurred to me. And, within a few days, Joe and I were not reading together any longer. The bad part about the whole experience is: It was MY!!! decision. And, two years ago, he died. It took me a year and a half to begin to realize how much of life I have lived on my "own" apart from all of my family. And, then the Lord showed me yet one more thing I had been selfish with - - the time that Joe and I could have been together in the Lord, because I could not slow down enough to "do my own reading" and still continue to read with Him. when John Lennox mentioned being surprised about men not reading with their wives, it was as though the Lord nudged me and said: I revealed to that to you, now I am confirming what you understood. God in His mercy has brought me safe thus far ... I know He loves me enough to tell me the truth about myself... I know He has forgiven me and been long-suffering and merciful and showing me just how unloving I have been to Him and to all around me. And! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Amen! I know that in His kindness and mercy, if it be His will, I will be able to use what I have learned from my own rebellion, stubbornness, selfishness, pride, and just plain stupidity to help another young wife NOT make the same errors as I have made ... but, first - - learning how to witness and share Christ with those I do not even know Thank you! For confirming God's Word in my life and mind and encouraging me in my continuing journey through life to eternity.

Most believers will never know the power of God (and! How much He loves us) because they personally never read the Word, and not having that personal habit, will never realize it in their closest family (spouse and children) because we don't practice it as newly marrieds.@@returningtoperfection You will begin seeing AMAZING things of God when you avail yourself of His Word. It was reading through the Bible the first time that I FINALLY realized that God DOES KNOW what He is talking about! I will be praying for you, your wife, and your children - - a vital relationship with God and each other will be nothing short of AMAZING!

I have long considered that we human beings hold so desperately to life because we love life and living (with all of its up and downs) so much. As believers in our Savior Jesus Christ, our desire to live is a form of worship of our Creator. More most importantly, to have your husband come to Christ is the pinnacle of that spiritual relationship, so important to our individual lives. We know that God plans our lives so that we become closer to Him as we grow in the LORD. 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 tells us that nothing we suffer is for no good reason - - we receive His comfort through our loss, and then we are able to help others be comforted. Titus 2:13. Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Father God through Christ will take us all the way home in glory. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Amen! Life's challenges have an amazing way of seeing how God has been working in our lives all along - - so we take the next step in our journey into eternity with an excitement we have never known before! Through our losses, if we lean on the Lord, we find a new meaning and closeness with the Father, and see more clearly His love for us frail human beings@@carolwhigham8011

I have seen convincing proof the it has been made up by man. Doesn't that bother you?" I replied, "Gary, I don't believe in God because of the Bible, I believe in the Bible because of God" ...These gentlemen are approaching the same revelation.

In that series he goes into detail about the mathematical properties of scripture , and the probability of prophetic events. That The Bible is a supernatural book and had to have been created outside of time as we understand it.

Fifth of six born to my late Baptist minister father (MA Oxon.), the hundred year beating heart of my faithful mother finished its duty not three years ago. My older brother and Christian missionary surgeon went to his reward in 2008. I and my four remaining siblings, all believers still serve in a music ministry in our respective churches. God has given me along with my wife of fifty three years life in all its fullness as promised. Only this morning I was in Exodus (BIOY third time around) and the question popped up in my mind, if Moses wrote this, why isn’t he speaking in the first person? You just put my mind at rest when you alluded to Jesus’ question regarding what Moses said.

Thanking you so very much ! I did speak to God in the early hours of the morning, never asking anything for me. All I wanted was to be taken away… At that same instant, so much began to happen ! I began to be in constant AWE. I often had to look around or to the sky to find out how come suddenly my life changed for the better… I ended up finding that indeed when you feel the Presence, you’re not imagining anything. If you listen to Dr. Rudy Lloyds on NDE, you will find out about the existence of a Presence. I felt that when I was about 5 yrs old. The present situation is unbearable to me… * Once more, thank you for this video. I quite enjoy listening to Dr. John Lennox videos. Catholic Tradition unable to find a Church I can go to safely. Sad to see Christians so divided. Finding the difference between Catholicism AND Evangelism. Tradition carries not so pleasant situations…hard to accept some.

This is such a blessing to hear these two men of God share their insecurities. It is unfortunately very easy to think your insecurities to confront people with the gospel are a reflection exposing your insecurity in Jesus. I pray we are emboldened to spread the gospel. I pray for us to reflect the love and peace that has been so gracefully bestowed upon us from you, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless everyone.

The riches of this life come from this being consistently in the Word. No other way, no other intimacy, no other hope or patience is had but by these investments in His Word. He lives and so does His Word. What an incredible gift to us that cost many men their lives. It's a secret that is no secret.

John is absolutely one of my heroes. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as I have journeyed down the path of discipleship, I have come across evangelical athiests that challenged my faith as well. I have these people to thank for being the catalyst in strengthening my faith. The questions I had weren't answered immediately but one way God answered my questions was through John Lennox. We may have some different beliefs, but we both are "sticking with Jesus!!"

I used to teach bible study. My experience was exactly as Tour describes: the scripts does not reveal itself upon reading. Scripture reveals itself upon prayer. "Lord, what does this mean?" And the veil would be lifted. The dark glass removed. The pastors wife, a student in my class, asked me how i did it. How did i come up with my themes? Well... I just asked God a very hard question. Hus book gave the answer. Perhaps the most remarkable thing was that the same verse gave different answers to different questions at different times. The scriptures are static, but what God reveals through the Holy Ghost is very much alive. (I had the privilege of speaking to Dr. Tour face to face via zoom.)

I love the Scripture, that is my life and has been since my teenage years. After two decades the Lord then led me to Eastern Orthodox Christianity and my goodness the Bible has never opened up as it has now. I can see and hear Christ in every book of the Bible like never before. God bless you both for not bowing the knee to materialism.

I am trained in counselling and psychology but nothing holds a candle to the Word of God. I owe it my sanity and security. It is a treasure that could change humanity if only people let it.
