Hi! thank you very much for a great tutorial. I have been searching for this for a month. I even got in contact with silhouette because of problems with true size in print and cut and they haven´t been able to give me an answer. I had just come to the conclusion that silhouette studio is not accurate enough. I have wooden elliptical blanks and I print ant cut vinyl to stick on them. The problem is that every time I open silhouette studio to make one (I had a template saved in studio) and print and cut my design the measures change, they are off by some mm. So I have to print and cut it in copy paper, measure how many mm in width and height are off, change the mm in the template and then print and cut it in vinyl. Did it ever happen to you? Thanks!!

I have some ideas on this. Please contact me via cleversomeday.com/contact/ so we can pick this up by email.
Quick question... Can't you change inches to MM in preferences? Or was this older version of studio

yes, you can change inches to mm. But you can't change from decimal inches to fractional inches, which is the standard measurement style for US crafters.

CleverSomeday Ahh ok that makes sense. I was worried that when I changed to mm I wasn't getting true size. Now I understand thank you for explaining. When I get the pixscan to work it's been great for replicating model parts in plastic sheet. Thanks for ur videos they have helped!
