So the characters from League of Legends are Ekko, Qiyana, Senna, Akali, and Yasuo. Ekko's first voice is Thutmose, last verse is DUCKWRTH, Qiyana is Becky G, Senna is Keke Palmer, and Akali is Soyeon. In game backstory, Akali took a break from KDA to find another more rap-focused group, and thus made True Damage, Yasuo is the DJ producer of the song, his power is related to wind (he's a samurai) so that is why he's in a wind tunnel and he uses his sword to reverse the wind current. Ekko's whole powers are relating to time skipping, jumping, and illusions by messing with time, which is why he's jumping everywhere and all glitchy looking. Senna deals with shadows, and Qiyana's hoop is bladed and she uses to it to attack. I feel like True Damage did a great job of implementing the in-game character powers to their music video counterpart, and knowing how the characters are played in-game really helps grasp what's happening in the video.

One thing that throws a lot of people off is the line where Becky G sings how they ask where Qiqi's at and people think she said Keke so they get them confused. Qiqi being Qiyanna. I've seen a lot of reactors get it twisted

So, here comes the story/lore stuff: Akali joined kda and they released Pop Stars, in 2018. With the fame she gathered she went back to her roots and releasede GIANTS with her old group, using her popularity to put her old friends in the spotlight! wOoOoow This year, back with kda they released their EP Kda All Out. Oh and Soyeon is akali both in kda and true damage, cause they are they the same "person" Waiting for your reactions on the last 3 songs from the EP (I'll show you, Drum go Dum and Vilain!) if you chose to do it, ofc Really liking your videos and your genuine personality!

She is still Akali. Storylinewise Akali of KDA got a group of artists together to collab, the DJ is Yasuo, the dude rapping is Ekko, the girls are Senna and Qiyanna.

So to clarify your confusion Soyong is still "Akali". This song was a collab she had with True Damage in the time between the release of KDA Pop/Stars and the second single The Baddest. To conclude and so you can understand the characters we have: Soyong as "Akali"; Thuthmose and Duckwrth as "Ekko" (the 1st guy you see, he's played by both int the difference in vocals); Becky G as "Qyianna" (the one on the ring, pink hair); and Keke Palmer as "Senna"; the dj is "Yasuo" as no voice actor or singer. It was also made for the Worlds Finals of the competitive gaming in 2018 or 19 that's why they are in France also. Maybe this could help you out!!

Ekko, the main leader of the group (voiced by Thutmose on the first verse and Duckwrth on the bridge) is a time-traveler in-game, both lore and gameplay-wise. That explains his "glitchiness" all over the place, the weird reverse-beat on the bridge, and his "I keep on shattering time" and other time-related lines.

That skin was made, I guess exclusive for Louis Vuitton especially the true damage qiyana prestige edition.

The first verse of Ekko was done by one artist. The second verse, which is a verse for Ekko’s shadow and a different artist does it. (which in game is a shadow that follows you around with 4 seconds of delay, which is your ultimate, if you’re in trouble you can use your ult and you teleport to that shadow recovering the health you had 4 seconds ago, cool)

This band exists in the same universe of KDA, akali takes part in both bands but this is after Pop stars. Yasuo the DJ with the sword also takes part on KDA by helping them to record the new song, he appears in one of the HQs and akali says that she likes to get close to the members of a band and create friendship bonds, so she takes the best out of that and learn a bit with each person she meet.

Just a short info: there are many different types of music and reasons for the songs. Gians was for Skin promotion World songs: To promote the upcoming world championship once a year Skin songs: To promote the skins KDA: Kinda for skins too but its a own thing now because so many people liked it Special songs: like breathe for their cardgame (its a really good ballad imo) and many others I do not remember more. but this is just to give you a quick info

As with most thing in league, this shit has some lore behind it. Akali from K/DA decided to create a side project to find young talents, and Akali being a rapper, it is easy to imagine why this song is so focused on rapping. As for the "static" effects that you were talking about, main boy rapper here is called Ekko - in league of legends he can travel back in time and they incorporated his abilities in the visuals of the song.

K/da is kpop group. Designed ahri. True Damage is hiphop group. Designed akali. Yes, so-yeon was also akali.

I feel obligated to state that the 'time jumps' and flickering is Ekko. The character itself has powers related to time travel and teleporting. In the game, he can completely reset time and his afterimage chases him around to show where he'd be. So yeah, when Yasuo used his wind blade to reverse the fan, Ekko stopped time and changed the beat for a solo. The way it returned to reality with the time speedup at the end shows that. Most of the character abilities or backgrounds were showcased here.. from Qiyana's nobility and weapon to Senna's ghostly form and travel powers. So yeah, this all is so much deeper once you know the stories behind the characters.

True Damage, the hip hop group consisting of Ekko, Senna, Qiyana, Akali, and Yasuo. K/DA is voiced by Miyeon for Ahri, Madison Beer as Evelynn, Jaira Burns is Kai'sa, and Soyeon is Akali True Damage is voiced by Thutmose and duckwrth both voicing Ekko, Keke Palmer as Senna, Becky G as Qiyana, and Soyeon as Akali once again. Yasuo is the "DJ" for the group, and is not voiced. Ekko having two voices with largely different styles is a nod to his in game abilities. as in game, he has a clone of himself, and is able to distort time.
