We want men who will work to provide in such a way that women can be open to life. You can't be open to life if the best you can do is a part time job that pays minimum wage and has no benefits. We women can work, but we sacrifice that for the family. These men are also too insecure for NFP. This is the main reason I never married. I want a guy who has the ability to work a job that can support all the children God wants to give him.

You are very loved by God, who values your measured sacrifice. I've heard that God places the value of a chaste single woman above that of those who marry. I appreciate your sincere sharing. May God continue to bless you🙏💙🇺🇲

does this mean that if you are not married or not a priest you are not a man???? Genuinely curious. So if a man is single he has not attained manhood? Looking forward to an answer! :)

Thank you for the question! In the Catholic Church there are 2 primary vocations, Priesthood nad Marriage/fatherhood...if you are not living one of these vocations that church presumes you are preparing or moving toward them. There is consecrated celibacy as well...but that would be a committed decision to remain a celibate for the kingdom.

@@allparish thank you so much for answering this question. I am 37 years of age and a man and I very much plan to become married/desire to. If one chooses marriage over priestly vocation and let’s say that God would have desired for the man to be a priest , does God with hold blessings from him? I am really taking my Catholic faith seriously again. It has been a long journey for me. I desire to marry however life has been a journey to say the least.
