I watched this for the second time lol, have you thought about getting some leather similar to what’s in interior of truck to wrap cabinets and under sofa etc? So looks oem, only thing left I’d change is I’d get a mini split ac setup you can get 12k btu using 700 watts and then all you do is turn on generator with auxiliary tank. No setting up ac and I’m sure way more efficient than portable one. I used to have one of those they hog power like crazy same btu like 1200 watt

3M makes an adhesive remover a little expensive but works.

Carpet will do the trick Or you can cover it with black leather. Would also do. From South Africa

Try acetone on that adhesive if nothing else works

Stain all the wood to a dark walnut and it will look awesome

I have a 2016 780 with the work station. I would love to completely gut it out and design it another way. Scared as hell to start pulling panels and cabinets off!!!! Lol

Right on. Just take a weekend and go for it. You can tweek things later after you spend some time in it.

Awesome , I would avoid carpet , carpet absorbs odor and dust and sticks later , I would just varnish , impressive job 👍🏻. Your giving good tips and ideas for owner operators, cool . I drive for Roehl transport and I live In Connecticut.

I did my own truck in laminate. It's a lot of work. Turned out great. It's easy to keep clean. Obviously I removed the seats and the throttle cabinets and safety belt ratchets that bolt to the floor. The other person who put in the floor cut around everything and it would collect dirt . Everything is mounted on top. Looks good guys.

Thank you. Its a lot of work but its worth it.

Use marine vinyl. It’s water resistant, easy to clean, easy to install, and available in many colors.

Add some contrast for the doors, think white would compliment the steering wheel and open up the cab. I would say add carpet around the base for added insulation but that might interfere with the rear cabinet door, however, I would agree a tile back splash would add a nice modern touch as long as cab movement doesn’t cause the grout to deteriorate. Love the custom look. I find it interesting how truckers modify their rigs to accommodate living on the road. Looks awesome!!

The old Freight shaker it's coming together, I would definitely go for the speaker carpet and the LED lights but on the cabinet doors I would sand and varnish them a little bit of the varnished wood back there would be awesome or like the other comments said paint them white compliment the steering wheel and maybe put some kind of red design on them like Freightliner in red

Great job, from NC. I would probably use some speaker box carpet in black, along with the LED lights, just paint the doors to match the fridge. If your ever around Greensboro NC, would love to see the truck.

You could burn it with a hand torch and then put clear stain on it. Super awesome look!

Finish it off with carpet and the LED lights would be a nice touch! I’m watching from Rock Hill, SC. Just outside of Charlotte. Stay safe

Before the Goof-off, try a citrus spray. You can find it around the air freshener. I think this will not harm the vinyl.

I think I saw you hop off at exit 66 in Smyrna, Tn. this past Monday. I really dig what you're doing to this classic. Looks great!

Yeah, just carpet it. It’s easy and will look good.

Careful of the goof off it will melt the windshield. Used on a Freightliners windshield and it etched it.

Was curious if mounted the cabinet to the wall as well as floor or just floor?

Have u thought about that light weight fake Brick panels u can get at home depot or lowes...to put on ur back wall and und ur couch..... I would paint the framing black...the doors red with some white pin stripping accents then clear coat it ..and find some really cool door knobs....just my opinion...but its ur truck...looks darn good 👍

@@sparky09100 thats a lot to deal with. Maybe in an 84inch sleeper. That shower you mentioned is called a wet bath and it might work if you do it right.

The couch is from an rv. Check rv surplus places or private sellers.

Try to match some vinal that's like the rest of your truck. 😊

The tri stars one came from a little shop downtown Nashville Tn called Nash. The red truck one came from a chrome shop.
