You gotta watch those rental places lol. Check those rides out good.. Point issues out before you leave kinda thing. Take pics lol. Like little scratches or any interior stains or nicks cause if you didn't buy the insurance or show them prior..then it's like you're a present for them. They'll have you fixing it for them even if you know you didn't crack that piece of dash or whatever.. Barely noticeable fender scuff. I've seen horror stories of people getting reamed by trying to save a few bucks and end up fighting them over paying for a fender and paint job on an obviously months old ding nobody would know was there unless you knew lol. Anyway.. Long winded but great video man. Brings back memories of being out there on the road dealing with people like that.

the problem is when they started this CSMA they took away the right for you to challenge a Dot officer or State inspector in court,, they took away your right to a fair hearing,, several questions i'd like to ask the officer one is since when is he an window tinter & how can he tell the grade of the tint,, secondly half these Officers are on a power trip & they don't understand the PC rule,, i believe nattydreadlocks is right ,, the ex dot officer interview on Mutha Trucker explains in detail how one can use the PC rule

I carry 2 12 ton low profile jacks. Two tool boxes , 3/4 impact, solder iron, torque converter. My buddy calls my truck the “mechanic truck”.

Yea there shop rate books are bullshizz not on my big truck because we did most everything in my dads shop but had a dodge pickup with bad thermostat and it was in the middle of the intake you had to take water pump of and a bunch of crap and I wanted to replace a few things while it was all of and they charged me like it was a different job taking everything off again when it was already off just put my new part on 😡yea never went back nor did anyone I know which me and a few family and friends used him until he thought he was a dodge dealer instead of a small shop needing referrals 👍last I head he was doing welding on apartment railings 👍which he might be making a fortune doing but at least he’s not screwing me or my referral anymore 😎Rickster. But I got tagged a few times on the road when I couldn’t get my truck back home Nice Freight Shaker I ran my 1981 for years it was a good looking and good truck with as long as I stayed on top of rattles and maintenance 😎Rickster retired it’s my wife’s page I use here and there to watch videos 🤫😂😂

Any Freightliners I've seen have a brace welded to the rear end housing and a exhaust clamp around the s cam tube. Keeps it from moving and help keep it from braking. It really does help. I'd recommend putting them on. Brake that keeps locking up, make sure you don't have a mix match of brake cans. Long and short stroke. Makes a differance. I don't trust any shop without babysitting them.

I don't know if you have Home Depot in the area that has pickups to rent for the $19.95 like in my area but that might have worked for you. What's the name of that shop in Franklin KY. that TheTruckerTable used?

I provided the turbo, the air cooler & the air filters. Everything else the shop provided including fixing my Jake brake. I definitely recommend the shop I used in Franklin, KY. Mike & Kelly were awesome and very accommodating. PS I have a 20 ton bottle jack I never use, I’ll give it to you next time I see you.

I remember when drivers would overhaul trucks in the parking lot. Just use a little tent for cover. That shop should of ate some labor to many shops are worried about making money on one job instead of bringing the customers back. 😂

That highway 60 reminds me of highway 62 going to Eureka Springs Arkansas. There are lots of switchbacks and very tight curves

When you were cleaning off your mirrors, I wanted one of those. I’ve subscribed to ManVsRoad. I’ll have to start watching him. Oh, and will the squeegee at the pumps….I’m going to bring my own. With drivers washing many things other than windows, I won’t use one. God go with you.

Being from Idaho spent too much time plowing parking lots, the reason we didn’t is because the scraper blades are expensive. I’ve never had any local, county or state people say there’s an issue when we would push snow across the road. However, one of the plows got a ticket for crossing the road without being registered.

That’s a good point. I watch drivers drivers that drive in parking lot with their four ways on. I’m old school, I started driving in 1987 with a chauffeurs license. You only need four ways in a parking lot if you are doing something that needs other drivers attention. So as parking in a lane of travel for a few minutes, so someone doesn’t sit behind you and when back. And I’m surprised that he didn’t get reefer fuel. He must have been more than 3/4 full.
