First tire flys off,no red flag. Second tire flys off,.no red flag. Tractor now out of control, no red flag. Tractor crossed boundary line and grinds to a stop, no red flag. Then it looks like the flagman walks up to the driver as if he was going to ask, you think I should wave the red flag now? It will take a body count of 2 or 3 before they change how things are run!

It works until it doesn't, right? A lot of these pullers are the same. If I have it, I will run it until that part breaks, then I will upgrade. No need to do otherwise IMHO. Pulling exposes the weakness and an until it is exposed or broken, there really is nothing wrong with a given setup. A lot of these machines are from decades ago that look the way they do now and have been upgraded over the years. Then someone comes in buys/has them build another just like it, "Oh but I want car tires on the front, with a 4 engine setup, easy to work on..." And then you have the next generation of pullers, frames, safety, internals that are built to today's standards in motorsports.

@@WWPTV for years i watch these things popping axles over and over, it just seams like somebody would figure it out by now..

I always notice is all these tractor pull vids, that the drivers attempt to steer while the front tires are fully off the ground. But when they land and the tires are not straight they go flipping...😆

Yep. That’s how you pop a tire. But most pullers have a knob or a piece of tape to show them the center. Steering mid air is only done with brakes. We have a thing we say in pulling: are they a driver or a braker?

A lot of these are super underwhelming. No fires or wrecks, just a bit of smoke on a straight pull...

Oil filter does not do anything to save the motor. The relief valve in a oil filter opens at 8 psi plus. All the oil goes through the filter but a very small amount actually gets filtered.
