Hey guys, in our area of the south, truck toppers are a dime a dozen. You can find them everywhere, and usually for pretty inexpensive. This particular topper we acquired when we purchased a Ford Ranger. I have been using it for dry storage on top pf one of my other coops but decided to turn it into a portable chicken tractor. My amazing husband made short work of helping me to cut hardware cloth and cover all the windows to keep predators out. If I was going to turn this into a daily coop, I would install a nice roost bar, but for my current usage, it is not necessary. This topper is 100% waterproof when the windows are closed, and when open it still stays dry unless it is a driving rain. To complete this project, we had zero money out of pocket. We just used scraps, and items we had on the property. i hope someone is able to find it useful.
