Watching this for euro truck simulator 2

I can personally never put enough stress on how much a well adjusted mirror can tell a driver, But unfortunately, A lot of people just don't get it and are too stubborn to actually look into it.

Thank you! I’ve watched a few videos and your video gives the best explanation. I’ve been driving hoods for most of my 22 year career, sitting low.I know drive a Volvo and I’ve been constantly adjusting the mirrors and never feeling like I had them correct.I would pass guys and wonder why their mirrors looked like they were pointing towards the sky and so much air in their seat.I understand now. Proper seat adjustment is paramount! It’s taking some getting used to riding with my seat properly adjusted, but I definitely like the view I’m getting in my mirrors now! Thank you once again 👍👍

I've always wondered about the convex mirrors that are over the passenger door of some semi trucks. What are they for?

I'm not a truck driver, but I do play euro truck simulator quite a bit and my truck there, I believe, has the mirror you're referring to. It just gives you a view directly to the right of your passenger door, which is a blind spot not covered by any other mirror. Trucks are tall and you can't always say with 100% certainty that there's isn't a car hiding behind your door, so it just removes any doubt. How this helps :)

This seems incorrect to me. Why do you need to see the side of your truck in the upper mirror? What good is it doing? The bottom convex mirror already compensates for it. If anything the upper larger mirror should be adjusted outward so you can see your blind spots. Is this just emotional security or something? Seriously wtf. How fucking easy is it to get a CDL.

It's for people who are aware just how much EVERY mirror distorts the image, and therefore seeing the side of the truck is important for getting the right perspective on the situation. You have not been using your mirrors correctly. If you have been using any at all lol. I hope you haven't because if you did, you went out into the road while being a piss poor driver. Seeing a fragment of your car at the edge of your main mirrors is literally what any instructor worth their salt teaches aspiring drivers on lesson no 1.
