This weekend we hit Lake Mead National Park in Nevada to do some truck camping near the water (tried to at least). There were a ton of spots available in the area and some really good views BUT lake access was a bit tough due to all the mud in this particular cove. There was one really good spot by right water but it was already taken.
It was definitely a 360 turn from last week's trip where it dipped into the 50s (we froze) so this weekend we were basking in the 90s and it was HOT.
To camp here you will need to pay (or get the America the Beautiful pass) to get into the park.
