I'm not entirely sure how I stumbled upon this channel, but I am not disappointed. I'm from the United States, and I find it very interesting to see how the trucking industry varies between the U.S. and Europe and around the globe. I think this video is very informative, as well as interesting and entertaining. I also agree on that last part. It should DEFINITELY be mandatory to spend time with a trucker. A ride along or whatever. If only. Anyway. Thank you Cassie for making this video. I always find it fascinating to see these trucks from the inside. Especially what are to me foreign models. Thank you to you, and to truckers around the world. Y'all are awesome. Without you the world would cease to function.

I agree 100% with your suggestion that learner drivers of cars should sit in the passenger seat of a truck while an experienced truck driver demonstrates the limits to vision, the limits to stopping and the way a trailer truck turns. The learners would rapidly develop an understanding of the limits around a truck, and consequently be respectful of trucks and it may even stop them getting killed. Nice vid.

Hi Cassie, today was the first time I saw your channel and this episode with the presentation of a modern truck cab was the first episode I watched. In my youth, a hundred years ago, I also drove several types of trucks. Now I'm just a 65-year-old pensioner who looks with nostalgia and joy at the same time, at how much this beautiful job has evolved. I really like your truck and your calm and kind way of being. Starting today, I am your subscriber and I look forward to your next episode. Safe Travels Cassie!

Thank you Cassie, that was wonderful. I stopped driving in 1968, I didn't feel safe. It was like,"Come on Gordon, keep death of the roads, stop driving and you won't kill anyone." I did drive a tractor and trailer in 1974, for two weeks, around a small farming village. I was helping someone out in the summer. I enjoyed it, but didn't wish to start driving again. Socrates said, "Man know thyself." It was good advice. Your channel is a joy to watch, you are so warm, friendly and informative. It's no wonder the the followers of your channel all love you.

Hi Cassie. Thanks for making this video to show people how a modern truck looks inside these days. I am also a truck owner(Volvo) and I am driving it myself. I find that most people have no idea what a truck looks like inside. Most people are annoyed by trucks especially on the road. They don't know what it takes to drive a big vehicle like this. I Admire you for driving trucks and from experience I know its not always an easy job. People think that a truck driver is sitting the whole day and driving but they have no Idea that its much more than just driving. Greetings from South Africa.

Greetings from Scotland! Hi Cassie! That was great! I especially liked your idea that people should take the chance to "ride along" in a truck. I know there are all sorts of insurance issues but that could be resolved. Just spending a normal day (are there such things? 😊) with a trucker as they drive would give people a much better understanding of the "WHY'S!" of driving a large truck. Such a simple thing may just stop a lot of frustration and even save lives! The blind spot on foreign trucks that may have the driver position on the "wrong" side needs better publicised in the UK urgently in my view. SO many accidents in slow moving lanes of traffic, usually because a car driver or pedestrian isn't aware that (to the trucker) they are completely invisible in some areas, especially the cab blind spots on the corner and directly in front. Have a great weekend Cassie (are you going to see your other "horsepower" friends? 😊😊 Now that's an elegant way to travel!

Just this week, I started working on a Scania again, same axle configuration then yours (rear wheel steer) but with a flatbed and mid mounted Palfinger crane. There is just no comparison: the Scania is a great truck! I prefer almost everything compared to other brands! The interior, gearbox, engine smoothness, quality, tons of sensors to keep an eye on your truck...

I'm driving this truck in euro truck simulator, but sadly lots of features stay unexplained and not simulated. here i get to know them! that's so awesome! lots of nice information. i love this heavy machinery and love to know more about this, thank you. i somehow agree to your idea to educate car drivers of the special needs of truck drivers: a active drive or passive is a bit too much probably to realise, also because truck drivers are not the only one with special needs in traffic and not everything can be covered in detail, but the main things could be covered in car drivers education, i guess that would make sense.

Hallo Cassie! Thank you for a very informative video and for explaining the differences between al the cab models, that was something I did not know. You have a great office and I have to say you have very beautiful hands. If a may ask, what is your favourite truck that you have driven and why? Your excitement and great personality makes watching your videos enjoyable. Safe travels!

I grew up not around big trucks with sleeper cabs but with flat bed trucks that haul lumber sense my dad works in a lumber yard. I do find it so interesting the differences between semis and other trucks in Canada and USA compared to the UK.
