When you take a mountain walk in Switzerland, you will encouter these so-called 'stone-men' on your way. They tell you, that you are on the right way. Some are also built on mountain tops. Very nice to see them.

I am from Gotland and can say that these towers are debated. In some places around the coastline there are even signs prohibiting them. Mainly in nature reserves. But even outside of these, some people don't like them because they speed up erosion of the coastline and disturbs some lichens. Sorry for being a downer.

Hey miss cassie, watching your video's al week started at the beginning. But at this video i had to react. I'm so sorry you lost Alfie! Looked like a super cute dog. I hope you are doing beter now! I like the rest of your video's, except the ones you are not doing fine. Think you are a super cute trucker, i'm like a high way trucker as you call it😂. When you can't sleep you have to try and trick your mind, i do it by saying ok i stay awake drink coffee, go lying down and then fall asleep. I also sleep with the tv on, maybe it helps. Lots of love from the netherlands and hope you are doing ok.

I wonder, if Sweden is still as beautiful as it used to be when I was a school kid. Back in the late 70s and earlier 80s, it happened to be that we travelled a little bit through Sweden, one time on the way to Aland. Back in these days, ABBA was still in business. You saw lots of SAABs on the roads, the old Volvo 240. And in the Cafes, in the countryside, people were very, very friendly and hostile. Only downside of Sweden ist, when you are used to Germany is the long distances.... Oh, and back in these days you saw quite some american cars on the roads, the one with big block V8s and so on... And I remember, Stockholm Castle of the swedish queen and king was not bad. And your country was quite known for some good books for children, I used to read, because we did not know smartphones... Thanks for taking me back in my memories, long gone now...

These "Stone Build Things" remind me of the Stone Cairns (Stone Piles with a red piece of cloth) in The Long Dark. FYI: The Long Dark is a survival game, focussed around surviving in the blistering cold post-disaster setting. The Building process looks like Jenga in reverse... 😁

Those big stonepillars and some smaller ones in norway and rest of scandinavia and some other countries are for marking a route. So in norway tourist are told to not build those because of that. Also everytime we see those we have to take it down.
